Fury DPS Help

1 post in this topic

Hi guys - I need some help from you fabulous warriors. In raids it seems like my DPS drops hard, all around.

As you can see, my dps is way too low here. I follow, basically, what is outlined in SimCraft's rotation/priority list, and can consistently pull what it sims for me unbuffed on the raid dummy, and in MC I consistently pulled 18~k DPS on almost every boss (mid fight, not just execute phase) - but in highmaul it feels like my DPS gets chunked down for no reason. It was the same on the butcher, which I do not have a log for.

Is there anything you guys can see that i am doing glaringly wrong here? I would like to keep raiding on my warrior but if this keeps up, I don't think that will happen.

      Hello guys,
I play Fury Warrior and I'm having a dilemma in trinket choice. So far I have been using heroic version of Ursoc's Rending Paw and ilvl 845 Nightmare Egg Shell. Today I got HC Warforged (ilvl 875) Ravaged Seed Pod from Nythendra. According to the icy-veins guide and simcraft, the ravaged seed pod is worse than nightmare egg shell, but there is a huge difference between ilvl. I think I do higher dps with egg shell, but should I sacrifice it for ilvl boost from 857 to 859? I would appreciate any advice.
EDIT: I know the best trinkets are Chaos Talisman and Faulty Countermeasure, but I haven't been lucky on drop yet.
Here is also link to my armory:
Thanks in advance for your replies :-)

      Hey Guys,
I just swapped to fury and not entirely sure if I lose the Rampage damage if I hit another ability too soon. I know there's three hits to Rampage, but I'm not quite sure if I lose the last 2-3 hits if I spam Bloodthirst (or whatever) before Rampage has completed the animation.
      Any clarification would be awesome.
      Thank you,

Hey there, I'm usually bad at those kind of things so I've figured I'd ask my question here.

Today I got an ilvl upgrade but with the wrong stats, would be worth equipping it?

I'm Fury and my stats are:
      Crit 21%
      Haste 18%
      Mastery 35%
      Vers 5%

The item I got is greater by 15 ilevels and gives me 1,111 versatility but I'll lose 525 crit and 490 mastery. Now, crit and mastery are my 2nd and 3rd main stats respectively, and versatility the 4th but it seems to me that it would be a good trade overall, what do you guys think?

I come here seeking wisdom, as I am but a mere newb to Fury Warriors (as in, "I've been playing it for 2 days" new).

From the numbers in the tooltips alone, Whirlwind does more dmg than Furious Slash, especially if you have Wrecking Ball talented (then it does more dmg than Rampage). Considering how you use Furious Slash as a filler already, you might as well get a better one, right? I can't say how it compares to Avatar (its competitor in the talent tier) in dps but it looks promising.

With the recent Legion updates I decided to try my hand at a Fury Warrior, I primary a Holy Paladin. I've been working at PVP and not doing to bad but i'd like to get better so i was hoping you guys had some macros or tips for me. I am lvl 28 right now mainly searching for some good low level macros.
