Balance druid 490 ilvl, Mooglin - ghostlands
had issues with yikkan izu. I ended up having to reforge all my crit to haste and ONLY focus on yikkan, i left my starfall kill some small birds.
Got ported down, used a potion of brawlers cunning + incarnation , opened with starsurge, proc'ed my solar eclipse. Then i used starfall, got a few casts down then i had to use renewal + reju. I used mighty bash to stun him for a couple of seconds and popped Nature's vigil/Celestial aligment , boom boom, boom. he had 300k hp left when my cd ran out so i used Typhoon to push them away and i was able to kill it pretty easily at that point. ( Recount dps for that was 91k dps)

This was quite a nuisance as an affliction lock. Ilvl 488.
Tried using a Grim of Sac harvest life build but found was I getting behind on adds too quickly even with that.
Tried using a combo of seed + harvest life, still no go.
Tried both above combos using Grim of Supremacy, Voidlord and Soul Link, getting progressively closer.
What finally worked was:
Grim of Supremacy, Void Lord, Soul Link. Used seed of corruption to clear birds, needing two seeds to clear each wave, so effectively casting a seed every second gcd and using the interim gcds to keep DoTs running on Yikkan.
Pre-potted, popped DS:M on the pull, used Unending resolve, Healthstone, and Mortal Coil (to interrupt screech).
Got 2 screeches, used Unbound Will on the 2nd since Mortal Coil was on CD.
Ended up being close but I got it

For a Shadow Priest. Start a fight with Halo cast to quickly kill first 4 ravens. Then apply dots on the boss and as soon as the ads spawn use Mind Sear to kill them. Do not use fears until the end of the fight! If you didn't kill 4 ravens before others spawned, and the boss has 25-30% healh you can fear them all and just burn the boss down. Hope that helps.

For Monks, Brewmaster is easier than any other class (although windwalker can apply same strategy with Spinning Crane Kick). Brewmasters just use Keg Smash on cooldown, and no other AoE abilities (for WW 1 spinning crane kick every ~8 seconds should do). As long as you hold to this the boss won't go past 4 stacks of enrage, and with expel harm/chi wave you'll be fine on hp. Just don't ever use Xuen, the aoe damage he'll do will probably make the boss enrage to ridiculous amounts and even a brewmaster won't survive.
Dit this as 498 ilevel brewmaster.

The trick I found as a dk is to not use a pet or army and just hb the adds as they spawn, He will not only summon 4 birds for you, but 4 birds for every enemy in the fight. So 4x army+ghoul+you. Ouch. Other than that, tank and spank.

Did this with a fairly low ilvl (478) as a retpally with minimal buffs.
Essentials:
- Health potion (Brawler's or regular, doesn't matter)
- Lay on Hands at the ready
Recommended talents:
- Holy Prism
- Fist of Justice
The rest is pretty much all viable.
When Izu spawns, activate your burst macro and use Fist of Justice. Use Hammer of the Righteous to apply Weakened Blows since Izu does not cast spells, only summons, then proceed to DPS him. Whenever Izu summons birds, rotate between using Holy Prism on yourself and Divine Storm (one is sufficient to kill the summons). The trick with Holy Prism is that you can cast it upon yourself with 2 effects: healing yourself and radiating beams of damage (5 enemy targets maximum, in which Izu only summons 4 in one go). It deals a decent amount of damage - enough to actually kill the birds in one shot.
Tooltips:
- The rotation can get pretty messy, which is why I recommended the healing potion over the Potion of Brawler's Might and LoH. These provide instant heals (the latter is basically a second life, so use when near death)
- Using WoGs to heal is discouraged - you need them for divine storm! (see below)
- You need to pool your Holy Power such that you are able to kill the summons on the dot.
