Costs (X) more...

2 posts in this topic

Hi folks,

I've been at it for a few days now and cleared Normal, some of Naxx.. but I've still been too scared to play a card with Costs (X) more...

Does this mean that the cost of playing following cards cost 3 (usually) more mana?

If so this seems a hefty cost.

Which cards warrant playing with this penalty?

Many thanks smile.png

Here are a few of the cards I think you might be talking about...

Mana Wraith: ALL minions cost (1) more

- Double edged sword. This can benefit a deck that plays a lot of high cost minions once per turn, and hurts a deck that tends to play multiple low cost minions per turn.

Nerub'ar Warlord: Minions with Battlecry cost (2) more

- The text says it. This card is good if you don't run a lot of Battlecry minions in your deck and you want to addle an opponent that does.

Venture Co. Mercenary: Your minions cost (3) more

- A very strong minion, 7/6 for 5 mana, that comes with the downside of increasing the cost of the rest of your creatures while this minion is alive and unsilenced. If you aren't planning to play any 8-10 cost minions soon and you want an overwhelming minion, this might work for you.

There are also the Giants that fluctuate in cost based on various conditions, as well as cards that change the mana cost of your other minions/spells.

      Critical Strike: 27%
      Haste: 33%
      Mastery: 29%
I'm using "Legacy of the Void."
Any stats I should bring up or lower in relation to each other?

Title. Wasn't sure if it changes how good crit is or if it's still mastery > crit

      Hi guys,
I'm trying to use an uncommon build: Crit - mastery - versatility - haste - because I thought to max my dps without lose too much survivality.
These are my stats atm, with 2 different trinket.
What do you think? am I doing a huge mistake?
I'm 4/7 HC without problem, but i can't find a good trinket so i'm thinking that maybe i'm going to a wrong direction.

i'm looking for a nice Enhancement Pawn String or just the Stat Priority for Pawn.
This is the stat weight from Noxxic,  Agility [9.04] > Haste [7.54] > Mastery [6.04] > Crit [4.54] > Versatility [3.04], but i dont like this so much, maybe you know a better one.

Hello, recently I've checked dps with exsa/agonising, and agonising seems better. Now I'm curious  if stat weight has changed by a big amount, since now mastery does more than it did before, and I'm still using 0.69 vers and 0.29 mast, while thinking that maybe they are more equal  now? Also, is there any counted point in which master poisoner > elaborate planning? Cause now it gives me 6% more dmg on 5 stacks which is surely less than EP.
