Stats calculator for Classic

Recommended Posts

Hey IV, I made a simple stats calculator stats calculator for wow classic in javascript.

You select a class, then enter values into the fields for Stamina, Strength, Agility, Intellect and Spirit. As you type it updates the results which show you useful information based on what stats you entered - like dodge, and crit percentages, class-specific statistics like Ranged AP for Hunters and block for Druids in bear form etc.

Hopefully people find this useful for comparing item benefits and racial starting stats, or for learning how base stats affect different classes in Classic. Did you know for example that Shamans can build Block with Str items?

I didn’t just post here to show this off - I need some help with calculating Spirit. Some users have commented that Spirit health/mana regen values are too high for various classes (for example Paladins) and was wondering if anyone here had some more information on this!

Your boy teeb

Welcome Adventurers! The time has come upon us, FINALLY! The moment in Classic WoW history us diehard, loyal WoW nerds have all been waiting for. WRATH CLASSIC! Arthas Did Nothing Wrong (ADNW) has just begun recruiting (For WotLK Classic) hard-core, casual, rp, pvp, pve, raiders, anything you can think of, you are welcomed here. Although our main focus in ADNW will be progressive raiding, 10 and 25 man and pvp content, we look to have someone for just about anything. Currently we are recruiting for our CORE 10M team composed entirely of irl / internet homies. We are in need of just 1 HEALER (Highly prefer a disc priest with a shadow off spec) and another DPS. Preferably lock or Shadow priest. We are looking to fill our B 10m team entirely, so we can pool together for 25 man’s when it comes time to crush 25m. This guild was founded by a group of tight nit friends recently, who have been around since TBC. WOTLK was our turning point in WoW, and we CANNOT wait to get another crack at this and MAKE IT RIGHT. Come join the adventure of a chill environment full of helpful hands and knowledge. Feel free to reach out to me Via Discord: Daevilmonkiexp#9239 OR Bnet: Daevilmonkie#1280 just let me know you are interested in the guild and we can have a convo! ARTHAS DID NOTHING WRONG!

      Hi Everyone,

Returning to D3 after an absence.
Trying to figure out the best desired stat rolls for items as per the guides, have always struggled with this.
Am deciding to play DH Shadow Impale build this season 25. For example:

      The Compass Rose
      1. Socket
      2. Critical Hit Chance
      3. Critical Hit Damage
      4. Area Damage or Attack Speed
So am I looking for a ring rolled with all these stats? Because most of the time it will roll with Dexterity. So wouldn't it be unlikely that I would find such a ring?
If I had one with say Dex,CHD,socket and Attack speed    -     should I reroll Dex into CHC? Doesn't this defeat the purpose of Ancients? (as the ancient would have possible higher Dex but not higher CHC)
What if CHD was really low and Dex was really high? What if overall damage goes down because I re-roll Dex?
I'm confused. Just trying to figure out how to decide between 2 items.
EG: I have 2 Convention of Elements
      Priorities are:
      1. Socket
      2. Critical Hit Chance
      3. Critical Hit Damage
      4. Area Damage or Attack Speed
      Ring A (Ancient):                Ring B (non-Ancient):
      +618 Dexterity                     +473 Dexterity
      CHD : + 46% (rolled)            + 49% (rolled)
      CHC: + 4.5%                           +5.0%
      Socket                                     Socket
The game shows no difference in damage but minus in toughness and recovery on Ring B (must be secondary stats)

Which Ring is better? (should I choose?)
Thanks for any explanation of this. Especially @Deadset

**No Mog No Prog** is a newly formed guild on Remulos, currently expanding to recruit members for our second Kara team and our first 25 man team. We are an easy going guild who enjoy guild dungeon runs and raiding. Our current primary focus includes weekly clears of Kara and hitting Gruul and Mag soon.
      **Currently recruiting:**
All classes, specs and levels are welcome.
Spots for Healers and Tanks also available.
      **Raid schedule:**
      Kara: Sunday 8-11PM ST
      Gruul and Mag: Friday (TBC)
      **What matters:**
We are a bunch of adults who have fun, socialise, joke around and get serious sometimes. As a casual guild, you will not be asked for any hardcore commitments in any of our events. Understanding the fun aspects of playing the game and being in a community who enjoys it is what matters to us.
For joining the guild or have any inquiries, contact our GM; @Clampsdolce/Showerkraut#6882 on discord or comment below.

Who we are: |[H]| Herod Server| TBC Classic |Guild: Chaos|
< Chaos >  is a newly formed guild comprised of a mix of returning TBC veterans,  Classic Raiders, Mythic raiders and Arena players. We are all excited to be enjoying TBC again! We are a Semi-Hardcore / Casual guild that will do PvE progression and will be clearing all of the content while having a good time. We are looking for more like minded players to round out our core heading into TBC Classic. We will also have a strong PvP culture for those of you more interested in Arenas & BG's, and will be recruiting Socials for those of you who don't necessarily have the time/need to be a Raider but would like to fill in raids or PvP teams as needed. This is a great time for those who are worried about not having a guaranteed raid spot in your current guild and are looking for a home where you will. Also, for any returning TBC players without a guild this could be a great place for you! Pst for more info!
Raid Schedule:                                                    Tuesday 8:00p-11:00p EST                                     Wednesday 8:00p-11:00p EST
      Raid Expectations:
All raiders should come prepared for each raid, including encounter knowledge and required consumables, and items. Professions are not required to min/max but players should be trying to get BIS gear to assist raid progress. Example: Cloth DPS should be tailoring as that crafting gear is extremely strong.
Talking and having fun is welcome during trash pulls and having fun with farm content. Communication should be clear for new content and boss pulls. We encourage all guild members to play with each other in and out of raid to promote a positive environment for all to enjoy.
      PVP Expectations:
Players who want to PVP should use the guild as a resource to help find new and old players to make arena teams, enjoy the game, and push ratings to the best of their abilities. PVE player's should be capping each week to get BIS items such as weapons.
      Loot:
Chaos will be using loot council. This will take into account BIS needs, players who pass gear to others, attendance, and attitude. We will be using an addon called: RCLootCouncil. This speeds up the LC process and is transparent for members.
High priority or high demand items will be decided by loot council discussion. These are most likely to go to players who plan to stay with the guild for the long-term.
      Recruitment:
      Hunter: Low
      Warlock: Low
Shaman: Medium (1 Resto, 1 Ele, 1 Enhance needed)
Priest: Open (Shadow, Healing, Divine Spirit Priest)
Paladin: Open (Prot, Holy, Ret with OS prot for Kara)
Druid: Open (1 Boomy, 1 Resto druid, 1 Feral Tank)
Warrior: Low (1 arms warrior with OS Prot for Kara.)
      Mage - Closed
      Rogue - Closed
       - For Hybrid classes. Not required but encouraged to Dual spec for 10 man runs to help rotate and get all players the gear they need and have the correct roster and number of players.
      - Alts can also be considered for this as we go forward as long as they are at MIN pre BIS and/or have other minimum raid requirements.
Note: T4 will be a bit more flexible for the start of the expansion due to number of 10 mans vs 25 mans. We will have raid sign ups to help make this easier on raiders. Going toward the end of T4 and into T5+ we will solidify a consistent 25 man core.
      Leadership Opportunities:
Guild leadership has experience in Retail and Classic with guild management and raid leading. With depth of knowledge of the game.
(2 Officer positions are open at this time. Feel free to ask about opportunities within the guild. Some class officer opportunities may be available for classes/specs that are more stacked such as hunter and warlock. Example: Hunter class lead would be assisting with setting up misdirection pulls.

So the stat priority page of the guide ranks haste much higher than strength but the consumables guide recommends the feast for strength even though the haste food offers more haste which should make it the better choice surely?
Hoping someone more aware of the theorycrafting to clear that up for me.

This mainly applies for raiding by the way but if there is a different answer for M+ I am interested to know the answer there.
