[Archived] S20 Hearthstone Legendary Warrior Control GvG

I've been having a bit of success swapping out Rag for Ysera given the amount of BGH running around.  Is that a really bad idea?

Also I am just constantly running in to hunter zoo, warlock zoo, and mechmage.  Any advice for how to tune the deck for these matchups?

Nope, cutting Rag for a BGH dodge like Ysera, Kel'Thuzad or Sneeds is totally legit.

Tuning the deck more against Aggro is just a matter of cutting some of the late game for more early game answers like Ironbeak Owl or Cleave, but you should be favoured against those matchups earlier, Zoo can be tough if you don't get War Axe, but otherwise you should be able to outlast them.

Thanks for the advice!  I went back to rag and topped out at rank 3 my first season.

I want to keep getting better - should I keep running warrior or should I branch out to another deck?  Any recommendations?

I tried subbing one whirlwind for Emperor Thaurissan all while playing brawl instead of Geddon and it's been great so far. I even managed to pull off a Sylvannas Brawl combo *o*

Subbed the same, working nice.

I am not missing brawl in this specific deck, and sometimes with others was just an dead card, cuz ppl know ctrl=brawl and play around a lot.

Also, i never let my Geddon ... its so insane. The 2 dmg clear + bite ... the maybe call for bgh letting boom alone ... much value imo.

Not missing Harrison either ...

I'm having trouble collecting the last few legendary cards in the deck, for the time being, are there any other cards that could be a good place holder until i get them?

The new meta is still forming, but even at this early stage it seems that Kazakus will be a large part of it. This article shows all of the available potions, and explains how the ordering of the spells when cast is likely to change.
The first trick to remembering all of the options is to realise that  in the potion creation stage, nearly all of the choices are fundamentally the same no matter whether the spell costs 1, 5, or 10 mana. The cost of the spell simply powers up the effect. There are ten different effects to choose from, which are outlined below. The spells are remembered more easily when you group the effects by numbers.
      1, 2, 3 effects:
Icecap: Freezes 1, 2, or 3 enemy minions.
Ichor of Undeath: Summons 1, 2, or 3 friendly minions that died this game.
      Kingsblood: Draws 1, 2, or 3 cards.
Shadow Oil: Adds 1, 2, or 3 random Demons to your hand.

      Other effects in number order:
Felbloom: Deals 2, 4, or 6 damage to all minions.
Goldthorn: Gives your minions 2, 4, or 6 extra health.
      Netherbloom: Summons a 2/2, 5/5, or 8/8 demon.
Heart of Fire: Deals 3, 5, or 8 damage.
Stonescale Oil: Gives 4, 7, or 10 Armor.
Mystic Wool: This card is unique in that it has no effect for 1 mana. It either turns a random enemy minion into a 1/1 Sheep, or all enemy minions into 1/1 Sheep.

At the moment, many of the pairings work according to the game engine, rather than in the best order, which means that Kazakus is not working as intended. An example of this would be minions that are getting killed by damage are then getting frozen before leaving play. This is correct in terms of how the game works, as deaths are always processed last, but the spells are going to be made to work outside of the regular game engine. This will make them more powerful and intuitive.

We are already working on this. Feel free to post stuff like this on our bug forums. (source) This reply on Reddit confirms that the idea of the custom Spell is that it will resolve in an order beneficial to the caster, and that it will likely be changed very soon.

      So,
Which trinket should I be using (obviously arms warriors are not concerned with iLvl because Mastery is desired over strength.
I have the 820 iLvl trinket from a timewarped dungeon and that with heroism, Battle Cry, Potion, trinket use, could provide an extreme amount of dps burst which is also on a 1.5m CD. It seems like an obvious choice but I wanted to hear any thoughts or opinions that people have since I'll be losing 500+ static mastery. Also, the use effect gives around 20-24% increased damage during colossus smash.
      Thoughts?...
