Table of Contents

Wild Pyromancer is a neutral minion. This card can be obtained from expert packs. Below the card images, you will find explanations to help you use the card optimally in every game mode of Hearthstone.

1. General Comments

Wild Pyromancer has decent minion value for 2 mana, however it has a great potential to form synergies with every class' spells (and it also triggers from using The Coin). Keep in mind that it will also damage your own minions (including itself). Its ability triggers once the spell you played has resolved (that is to say, it has triggered its effect). For example, Wild Pyromancer will trigger its ability after Frostbolt already does its damage, so if you have Pyromancer on the board and you Frostbolt a Harvest Golem, Harvest Golem will die, its Deathrattle will trigger, and Damaged Golem will die to the Wild Pyromancer's ability.

2. Constructed Play

Wild Pyromancer is a common card in several decks in Constructed. Paladins often use this card to activate Equality which at 4 Mana is the most efficient board clear in the game. Priest also use it to good effect by buffing its Health with Power Word: Shield and using other cheap Spells to create board clears. Outside of these examples, any class that relies heavily on cheap spells can get some usage out of this card.

3. Arena

WIld Pyromancer is a fairly average minion in Arena. Since you are unlikely to be able to draft strong synergies with this card, it will often simply represent a 3/2 for 2 Mana. However, this is still a perfectly acceptable stat distribution for its cost.
