Fal'dorei Strider is a Rogue-only minion. This card was introduced with Kobolds & Catacombs and can now only be obtained through crafting. Below the card images, you will find explanations to help you use the card optimally in every game mode of Hearthstone.

1.

General Comments

Fal'dorei Strider gives up a little in stats in return for a lot of long term value. When one of the Spider Ambush! cards is drawn, not only do you receive a free 4/4 Spider, but you draw another card, which can often cause a huge drain on your opponent's resources. The downside of Fal'dorei Strider is that the Ambushes will be drawn at random times, however many Rogue decks draw a lot of cards, which allows the Ambush cards to be reached quickly.

2.

Constructed Play

In Constructed play, Fal'dorei Strider is an extremely powerful card. Rogue decks have access to versatile cycle cards such as Shiv and Fan of Knives, as well as cheap spells that work well with Gadgetzan Auctioneer. This means that the Spider Ambush! cards can be rapidly found and used to create an intimidating board whilst simultaneously dealing with enemy threats.

3.

Arena

In Arena, Fal'dorei Strider is a very good card. Although it has slightly low stats for a 4-drop, if the game goes on long enough to hit even one Spider Ambush! card, this shortfall is more than made up for.
