The new Legendary in Patch 11.2.0 are the Reshii Wraps! This cloak will originally have no secondary stats but you can slot in fibers which add a double budget single stat to the cloak. We recommend Pure Energizing Fiber as Mastery is often the best stat.

The Reshii Wraps also deal a damage proc which can cleave and also does more damage to low Health targets. The Interloper's Reinforced Sandals increase the proc rate and should be equipped with your Cloak. The Band of the Shattered Soul is not a bad ring and can provide some shielding to Cosmic damage which is prevalent in the raid but should not be equipped for this benefit alone as the shield is small in comparison to the damage taken.

For the Keeper of the Grove Hero Talent builds:

• 2-piece: Celestial Alignment summons a Dryad for 10-seconds which casts Starsurge and Starfall.
• 4-piece: When the Dryad expires, your next two Starsurges deal additional damage based on the damage you dealt in the Dryad window and splash 10% of the damage on nearby enemies.

The Keeper of the Grove was buffed into relevance. It is now considered approximately an 18% bonus over no tier and you will begin swapping to this when you have normal 2-piece. 2-piece/2-piece should be neutral or slightly better than max item level 4-piece Undermine.

The set bonus consists of 2-phases, one where you pool damage and the next where you utilize the damage you pooled. This means that you will want to be compounding your cooldowns to create a large damage pool for the end of your cooldown set. This set requires you to play around and time it more than Elune's Chosen. You want to time the cooldowns ending with where you need the damage and you must pool Astral Power and ensure that your last two globals of your Celestial Alignment window are Starsurge as you will only have 2-seconds to cast the empowered spells.

For the Elune's Chosen Hero Talent builds:

• 2-piece: Starfire does 25% more damage. Casting Starfire has a chance to launch a Starsurge at your target at 50% effectiveness.
• 4-piece: Starsurges cast by your Starfire procs cleave 3-targets. These Starsurges grant Gathering Moonlight which give your next Fury of Elune or New Moon a cast a 4% damage buff to all damage. Gathering Moonlight stacks up to 3-times.

Elune's Chosen is in a much more competitive spot on single target and is the better high end Mythic+ Hero Talent choice as well. It is approximately a 15% increase over having no tier and you will being swapping over to this as an increase on both single and multi-target fights when you have normal 2-piece

The set bonus is effective on single and multi-target. While the 4-set bonus does have a buff, you generally would not play around this with the exception of if you could try to maximize the buff before popping your cooldowns though you would not want to wait very long.

Patch 11.1.7 brought with it a brand new dedicated item slot similar to the Cyrce's Circlet. We will be equipping the Durable Information Securing Container belt from delves and a short questline.

In 11.2.0, this item should be able to be replaced by a fully upgraded Hero Track or regular Myth Track belts with good stats.

Over time, you will be able to upgrade its itemlevel all the way up to 701! Not only is it significantly higher ilvl than any other belt, but you can also apply one of up to nine procs or bonuses to it as well. Switching the bonuses and procs is very simple. Once unlocked, you can right-click the item to quickly swap to a different bonus. Depending on the type of content you will be doing, you will want to pick the following bonuses:

• For Raid/Single-Target: Static Charge
• For Mythic+: Static Charge
• For World Content/Delves: Static Charge

Static Charge is considered the best overall ability however, Critical Chain, Spark Burst, and Electric Current can all be usable depending on your overall stats and gear you have available to you. As always, we recommend simming yourself if you would like to see if Static Charge is as numerically good for you as it is for the general Balance Druid.

A large portion of gearing, outside of knowing what is your best items, is reliant on item level. Try not to overthink gearing, as most upgrades should be easily identifiable. After item level, you can further scrutinize the Secondary Stats looking for Mastery gear and items with sockets.

It is crucial to use Raidbots to get an accurate idea of what gear is good and what is terrible. There are so many variables that can change which pieces you would equip. While a cursory glance can be enough to determine what is usable, deciding what is best among what is good is a more nuanced decision.

With that being said, the choice of embellishment depends on content.

• Raiding consists of many high-uptime fights where you stay in combat for minutes at a time. Due to this, we can recommend crafting Darkmoon Sigil: Ascension on a main hand or off-hand craft and then Writhing Armor Banding in a lower item level slot (early on) to double the effects of your other embellishment. In the event you loot a max item level Best-in-Slots, you will want to use 2x Elemental Focusing Lens for raid single target or Duskthread Lining for a balance of survivability and damage..
• Dungeons, Delves, and Mythic+ consist of smaller pulls and some downtime that would prevent the previous embellishment from being as viable. In this content we recommend crafting either 2x Duskthread Lining or 2x Elemental Focusing Lens and they are more or less interchangeable.

Crafted gear is more flexible in The War Within as embellishments. You are generally going to craft things with Mastery and Haste using Algari Missive of the Feverflare.

Early on, it is best to craft Vagabond's Bounding Baton with the Darkmoon Sigil: Ascension embellishment. Even though this may not be a the the final weapon you use, you will use it for a long time while waiting for a rare drop.

Afterwards by crafting Writhing Armor Banding in another low-level, low-budget item such as a Cloak or Wrists, depending on which piece you do not have a better upgrade in. This is because the Writhing Armor Banding only scales the other embellishment and does not rely on item level.

Later in the tier when you have access to all of the best items, you will swap your embellishment to Elemental Focusing Lens or Duskthread Lining as your main goal will be to get a maximum item level weapon.

Otherwise, there are no major slots that require an immediate crafted piece. Rune-Branded Waistband and Rune-Branded Armbands are good early crafts for Writhing Armor Banding or Elemental Focusing Lens.

There are several good raid trinkets and dungeon trinkets this season. For on-use trinkets, we have:

1. Araz's Ritual Forge is an incredibly powerful on use trinket. Even though it is 2-minutes which may not always line up with our spells, the amount of stats it provides is too good to ignore.
2. Lily of the Eternal Weave is a strong Mastery on-use available in Mythic+. This has a better timer to line up with our cooldowns.
3. Signet of the Priory is a secondary option available in Mythic+. It has a 2-minute cooldown and gains value if other players use it.

For passive trinkets, there are many more to choose from but here are some of the best:

1. Astral Antenna is the best passive trinket available in the raid with a baseline of Intellect and a high Critical Strike proc. You can kite the buff around until you want to use it or try to stack it with something else but it should not be a priority.
2. Azhiccaran Parapodia is the best Mythic+ trinket available with a damage proc and a stackable Intellect buff.
3. Diamantine Voidcore is part of a 2-set bonus with the late-game weapon options available in Manaforge Omega. Mastery baseline and a stackable Intellect proc with a high proc rate make it a competitive option.
4. Ara-Kara Sacbrood more competitive stat and damage proc trinkets available in Mythic+.
5. Empowering Crystal of Anub'ikkaj is a third strong Mythic+ option of passive trinkets. This one has baseline Intellect making it a bit more consistent than some other options but there are better ones out there.

These are generic simulations from Bloodmallet, giving you a rough overview of strong Balance Druid Trinkets. It is not a replacement for simming yourself, but it can still offer a quick overview.
