PTR Patch notes for the Season 6 patch have now been put out officially.

As it was discussed in the data-mining article we posted, there are significant changes to certain items. Many of the legendary gems and a few items have seen a rework, as well as plenty of the set bonuses being tweaked. There are a few new items in the mix as well.

The goal here seems to be simply bringing the sets in a rough line with one another, in terms of power levels. It is always very hard to judge how these changes will shake out in the live game, but it looks promising for fans of sets which aren't the "top set" to use.

This goal is admirable, and I hope that it is finally achieved. Certainly, the most recent patches have seen the most diverse single player metas, and with the targeted Twister group meta changes there will have to once again be a new group meta rising for Season 6.

Keep in mind that this is a PTR, and that there is still room for the numbers to be further tweaked before the patch goes to the live servers.

I've noticed they keep changing skills so they don't drop health globes, instead offering direct heals via critical hits or something similar.  And now they've reduced the number of globes that Solanium drops.  Does this have something to do with Reapers Wraps in multiplayer, as in, the party can grant too much primary resource via globe drops?  I never play multiplayer, and I've been curious about this trend...

This and couple other changes are mainly result of a particular Wizard bulid, which revolves around spamming Energy Twisters by the wizard and his ability to regain primamy resource with Reapers Wraps. Other party members have support builds with globe spawning abilities, which enables to spam Wizard damage spell. You can see it on the season ladder very clearly, top spots are occupied by that kind of party setup.

Ah, ok.  I've heard talk about that setup and that they were making some changes because of it.  Thanks!

Blizzard confirmed they're working on multiple new Diablo projects and they will share more details later this year (probably at BlizzCon).
In the latest video about Diablo released on Youtube, Associate Community Manager Brandy "Nevalistis" Camel confirmed that the team's working on more Diablo projects and they'll have more information to share later this year. She also briefly mentions Themed Seasons and it's likely they'll come up with a new theme for Season 15.

Don't miss out on your chance to grab one!
The only thing more elusive than a Rainbow Goblin in game is a Rainbow Goblin in real life, but here's your chance to grab one!
To celebrate the Season of Greed, we are releasing a robust and thorough Goblin farming guide for your murderous, loot-craving pleasure! It will take you through a tried-and-tested goblin farming route, suggest some suitable builds and equipment adjustments for the purpose, and even shed some light on goblin farming metagame and etiquette.
But enough talk - it's your turn to take blade and spell to their mischievous hides! While using our route (or your own!), take a screenshot with your Season 14 character and a double goblin spawn - and post it in the comments below. Your post will act as an entry in a random raffle to win one of the 20 plush toys we will be giving away.

For the general rules of our giveaways, please refer to this post. The post-specific rules for this giveaway are as follows:
You need to be on a Seasonal character. Make sure we can see your character and the goblins in the screenshot. (Console players, do your best with the pause screen, if necessary - we understand it is slightly more difficult to do this than on PC.) The giveaway will end on July 2, 2018 at 23:59 CEST. Multiple entries will be disqualified. Winners will be chosen at random after the contest ends. Grab your guide, grab your nephalem and get finding! You might even be lucky enough to find a Rainbow Goblin in-game and outside - as Abd Al-Hazir put it - a ludicrous notion, truly!
This contest has now ended - winners will be contacted via PM once we have filtered spam entries, multiple entries and so on. Please note that this can take some time, but we will post here once everyone has been contacted.
