Heroes Brawl: Apr 7 - AzmoDUNK!

Recommended Posts

It seems Blizzard likes the AzmoDUNK brawl so much that they decided to extend its duration by another week.

This week's brawl remains the same as last week.

Brawl Details

  • The only available Heroic ability is Black PoolBlack Pool
  • All players start with the Taste for BloodTaste for Blood talent and its stacks are shared with the rest of the team.
  • Stacks build up damage by 3 instead of 2 and the Taste for BloodTaste for Blood cap is 3,000.
  • The first team to take down the enemy core wins.
  • Completing two games of the AzmoDUNK Brawl awards 1,000 Gold and the AzmoDUNK portrait.
    • No new portrait for grabs if you received it previous week, but you'll still receive the 1,000 Gold.

Probably the best Brawl design ever made by Blizzard, although snowballs really hard. Would rather play this again than some hastily designed filler brawls like "Mage Wars".

More like the worst, I lost 2 out of 4 because people were afk and that led to a huge setback on taste of blood stacks.

That's game experience, now brawl design. It's a really clever brawl.

I don't like this brawl for the same reason I don't like the Sgt Hammer one on towers of doom, it's a snowball. Get a lead, you win.

It's not my favorite, for creativity I still think the Blackheart's siege defense thing is way crazier.

The majority of players go afk as soon as they queue and return 10-15 minutes later, that is especially more true in brawls than in qm,and even more so in brawls that last like a full game. The brawl designers are aware of this so in my book it is a brawl designer issue. And not to kick a gift horse in a mouth, i know we get 1k free either way but I would prefer to at least have a fair chance of fun in those 2-3 games rather than a signed defeat because others are lazy

It's not too bad, but I'd wish that people would stop getting so pissy over dying in late game. If you get focused by even 2 people with ults and Q's (especially if they take that talent where Globe Of AnnihilationGlobe Of Annihilation summons a demon) then you get screwed no matter where you go. The same is true for them, but then my lovely teammates go into 1v2s and complain. The game mode is cool too, but it's annoying again when people focus on kills rather than minions or structures or stacks.

(this comment was generally about people being poop rather than the game mode xP)

But it is a really fun game mode, soloing camps and even boss as Azmo is very awesome and the burst nukes are hilarious.
