On Thursday, August 10th and Friday, August 11th we will be conducting raid tests of Antorus, the Burning Throne. If testing goes well, a number of the bosses tested will remain open on Normal difficulty over the weekend.

Thursday, August 10th

Varimathras - Heroic Antorus, the Burning Throne
13:00 PDT (16:00 EDT, 22:00 CEST)

The Coven of Shivarra - Heroic Antorus, the Burning Throne
14:00 PDT (17:00 EDT, 23:00 CEST)

Aggramar- Heroic Antorus, the Burning Throne
15:00 PDT (18:00 EDT, 0:00 CEST)

Friday, August 11th

Garothi Worldbreaker - Mythic Antorus, the Burning Throne
13:00 PDT (16:00 EDT, 22:00 CEST)

Felhounds of Sargeras - Mythic Antorus, the Burning Throne
14:00 PDT (17:00 EDT, 23:00 CEST)

Friday, August 11th - Monday, August 14th
Kin'garoth, Varimathras, Coven of the Shivarra and Aggramar - Normal Antorus, the Burning Throne

As always, this testing schedule is very fluid and subject to the realities of a PTR environment. We might have to change the time of a testing session, change the bosses being tested, or cancel a test entirely, due to bugs, server hardware issues, etc. Keep an eye on this forum for the latest information, and thank you in advance for testing and providing feedback.

Q: How do I get into the raid zone?

A: In Dalaran, Orgrimmar, or Stormwind, you may speak to Nexus-Lord Donjon Rade Sr. in order to teleport into the raid zone while it is open for testing. (The option to teleport into a zone will not be available when the zone is not open for testing.)

Q: What character should I use to test the raid?

A: Whichever you prefer. We will be scaling players' effective level to 110 for raid testing, and their item level to an appropriate threshold for the encounter(s) being tested.

Q: How long does testing last?

A: The primary purpose of testing is to give us the information we need to balance the encounters, evaluate how mechanics are playing out in practice, and identify bugs. Once we're satisfied that we've received that information for a given boss, we'll be shutting down testing. Usually this takes anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours, but there are no guarantees.

We have a combo of retail, Classic Era and Wrath Classic hotfixes to take a look at today.
      October 2 (Source)
      Enemies and NPCs
A number of creatures on Mechagon Island have been scaled down so that they are no longer lethal to lower-level players. Bragdur Battlebrew again offers the Horde version of “Brew of the Month” Club Membership Form, as intended. Lord Andestrasz has been found in Waking Shores, and should no longer be invisible to some players. WoW Classic
Hardcore On Hardcore realms, mind control spells can not be used during normal duels. Developers’ notes: There should be no change to duels on non-Hardcore realms, and this should not prevent players from using mind control spells during Mak’gora duels to the death. Added an identifier that will show you the player class and level on hover-over, when challenged to a duel to the death. Wrath Classic Fixed a bug that caused the Joyous Journeys bonus to unintentionally disappear.

Blizzard has suspended more than 136K accounts that were participating in cheating and exploiting during September 2023.
      (Source)
To provide more transparency on the actions we take against cheating and exploitation, here is an accounting of the number of actions that were taken over the last month, September 2023:
Total Exploitative WoW Account Actions in September 2023: 136014
All of these actions were for cheating or exploitation, which primarily result in permanent bans or 6-month suspensions. This number does not include other actions such as those taken on accounts with character name or in-game language violations. We continue to evolve our methods and act against these malicious accounts on a daily basis.

Reddit user juckrebel managed to somehow open a trade window with an actual NPC merchant!
Every now and then, players stumble upon funny bugs in the game, and this one is no different.
Juckrebel somehow manage to bring up a trade window when interacting with a goblin vendor, which is quite unusual since trading is restricted to players. The OP shared a screenshot of the trade window with the NPC on Reddit.

Did anything similar ever happen to you?
