Game Director Alan Dabiri answered questions tweeted to him at Gamescom 2017 and this article aims to summarize them all.

Kel'thuzad (Summoner Kit)

They're always looking into summoning abilities for Heroes, but they don't want too many Heroes to summon a lot of thing, because the battlefield can get very spammy, so they went with CC & damage.

Mastering Kel'thuzad

When learning KT, it's good to start with his Death and Decay (Q Build) to get good value out of his basic ability. Then you can start experimenting with his Chains build.

Kel'thuzad's Chains

It's a playmaking ability and they're looking forward to see it used at high levels of play.

New Greymane Skin

The team is working on something cool that should be coming fairly soon.

Role Rework

Roles are something the team wants to redefine in the future to have more granularity with Heroes, so they can better explain what that Hero is meant for. Roles were great at first when the game was launched, but they started making Heroes that do not perfectly fit within those roles.

More Robust Options for Custom Games

Recently they added sandbox mode on Cursed Hollow, where you can use a lot of settings to mix up the game and try different scenarios out. So far, they've got pretty good responses and they'd like to give players even more flexibility in custom games.

New Events

The team's working on some cool things right now and they can't wait to share more details soon.

Matchmaking Improvements

The team's working on further matchmaking improvements beyond what they already done over the course of last year.

I wonder if the new Greymane skin is actually the "Greyfin" (aka Pirate Greymane) that is featured as a sticker alongside other pirate-themed characters (like Sharkhaka and First Mate Hammer).

Role rework is something that definitely needs attention. I wonder if they will make subclasses for roles a function within the game (Bruiser, Main Healer, Secondary Healer, etc).

As for the new event, I reaaaaaally hope it's a Warcraft event featuring a themed map. Something cool and simple; it's ok if we don't get something with brand new mechanics. Too much hassling can result into another Hanamura.

I'd really like if Blizzard implemented a PvE mode in HotS. A raid mode where 10 players fight a big boss packed with waves of strong minions.

I think so. Pirate-themed sprays already exist for new Dehaka, Hammer, Greymane and Probius skins.

Pretty vague answers, sounds like a politician :D

I assume next event will be something small with KT and then some Halloween stuff, I guess.

Even better, a mode where one/two super powered players fight against an entire team.

I'd give anything for something like that in HoTS and Overwatch as well. Would be amazing.

Blizzard released a new teaser image over on Twitter earlier today. According to the latest in-development video, new "Mecha" skins are currently in the works for Abathur, Rehgar and Tyrael...but is that it?
Folks over on reddit started speculating that the teaser isn't only related to upcoming skins. The text mentions "Neo Stormwind". Do you think a Warcraft-themed Battleground is coming next?  We'll need to wait for more teasers to find out! Based on the most recent leaks, we should see Mal'Ganis and Belial fairly soon.
Placeholder for tweet 952601211861065730 The following skins will be available to Rehgar, Tyrael and Abathur soon:
      Mecha Rehgar

      Mecha Tyrael
