It is 50% when you are grouped up with a friend. 25% is a standard party bonus for a group of two, so when the two of you are playing it's +75% total, up to 100% with party of 5 (50%+50%).

But playing with a friend outside the event is already +25%, and now during the event it says +50%, which means it is only +25% more then the usual. I am not talking about the party bonus, that is a different thing.

When you want a game and its accompanying story to drag for so long, odds are you won't like some (or many) things that will make it drag. Also, since Metzen isn't the lead anymore, it can be potentially bad (he could have a specific story in his mind and the new lead a different one for example). Personally, when I saw the new cinematic I was like "Sylv Warchief of the Horde? w0t? oooookaaaay..."

Alliance and Horde fighting is definitely one of the main features and perhaps the driving force of this universe. There have been however, baddies who really made a case for them cause they were like "I'm just gonna destroy everything/watch the world burn-literally" instead of "I'm better/stronger than you." (like Arthas & the Scourge, with having you even travel back in time to face him; and it wasn't the first time travel). I agree, it's kind of lame that "hey we just defeated an entire legion of demons and other terrors who threatened to destroy everything we hold dear, now let's just go back to hating,fighting and killing each other." but like I said above, for something to drag, you'll probably not like every single dish in the menu. I like how every expansion is deemed as "the last" btw lul; Sargeras is pretty much (still) the main baddie, so you'll know when it's ending when they start talking about him more...specifically imho (unless something Medivh-esque happens again and it drags even more).

P.S. Personally, I like Alliance because of the unification of all these different tribes; Humans, Dwarfes, Elves etc etc working and fighting together for a common cause, showing strength in unity. Horde does that too ofc, but to a lesser degree and still came second.

It feels kinda like a World War to me. Alliances were formed to defeat a common enemy, and when this enemy was destroyed, their interests diverged, and then converged again with the Azerite (which is pretty much the equivalent of petroleum in the real world).

Wow, okay, I didn't expect this to turn into this huge thing, but since it has...

I think my main problem is that there is no reason for them to fight anymore. Mists of Pandaria was all about how toxic and stupid the conflict was, the negative emotions turned against them with the Sha, then working together to depose Garrosh the Orc Nationalist while former disgusting bigot Varian actually learned a lesson and gained a noble tolerance - to the point where he even schooled Tyrande on tolerance which would have bern unthinkable in Wrath! 

Of course, the red flag was Jaina - she of all people would know better than to blame the whole for the actions of a few regardless of the destruction (which would make the "secretly replaced a dreadlord" theory actually be the least sloppily-written possible scenario for once). So we've got her and that idiot Greymane keeping prejudice alive. The only reason this keeps going is because of people like them. Yes, Sylvanas can be shady as hell and I side-eye her a lot behind the scenes but during Alliance/Horde joint ventures she has been nothing but honorable and reliable. Also Thrall should never have kept Gallywix in power of Bilgewater and Boss Mida should have taken over, but Gallywix is more of a figurehead anyway and while he's a horrible person he's mostly harmless in the grand scheme of things. Otherwise, the leaders of the Horde are just as honorable and rational as anyone.

Which brings me to the real reason the announcement of Battle for Azeroth bothers me so much - Anduin. Anduin KNOWS BETTER. Throughout his not-little-kid appearances it has been shown time and again that he KNOWS BETTER and yet he's shown leading the charge in the war front and center? Look, I won't knock anyone for liking it and Blizz can do what they want with their art but for me personally? Screw that noise.

Yeah, I see that, totally makes sense, just that you know, one should be like, they should learn from that and not "roll back/cling to old hatreds". About Azerite, I think I read it gave powers to anyone who possessed it (in-game it allows you to customize and do various stuff).

Hey, you watch your mouth about my waifu, I've got an animu pillow of hers, a poster, a plushie, a real-life statue, I search for cosplayers etc etc imma fite you irl.

For real tho (she's waifu in HotS) you can't say what she went through was "negligible" and Garrosh was warchief when he did what he did so you can't call him "minority". Eye for an eye is never the right thing to do (imho at least) but some people (or other life-forms) just won't stop, so you need to take drastic measures, one way or another.

I actually really love Jaina Proudmoore. Sweet, peace-loving, Thrall's bestie, bookish Jaina Proudmoore. I hate with a passion the racist white-haired woman who came out of the ruins of Theramore, whoever she is.

I don't downplay the horror of what happened, and I can see someone who was more or less neutral becoming that kind of bigot. But Jaina knew the Horde, knew they weren't all people like Garrosh, knew that not everyone would condone it. Given everything we know of her up to that point, Jaina Proudmoore would never hold an entire people accountable for the actions of a few, even if that few happen to be in power. Murderously against Garrosh? Sure. But going from fighting for peace to advocating genocide? I don't buy it for a second.

Agreed. I was almost like it wasn't Jaina at all, but some kind of evil entity. Maybe a... dreadlord (dreadlady?) of the Burning Legion!

Seriously now, I do like epic battles and world-changing conquests, but it doesn't seems right they would go back to fighting among themselves just a couple weeks (months?) after they defeated the world greatest threat ever by WORKING TOGETHER AS ALLIES.

I understand how both the burning of Teldrassil and the siege of Loraderon would act as trigger events politic wise, but still seems forced to me. It boils down to poor/rushed writing, imho.

Well, by my book, everyone who followed Garrosh is equally accountable. It's not like he went solo (or with a few fanatics),right? As for Jaina, maybe she felt it should have been her who perished there. Maybe it was the last straw (it's not like she didn't went through much; Garrosh maybe even reminded her her own father). Maybe she felt like nobody really understood her. Not blindly defending her, but nobody's perfect, right?

Yeah, really terribad writing imho, especially for her character. They decreased her importance (she's one of the most talented and powerful sorceresses in all of Azeroth for crying out loud and for most of recent story you haven't heard anything about her) and it looks as if they're trying to get everyone to dislike her; like they did with Cyclops in original X-Men trilogy which I hated...

That's still not the entire Horde by a longshot, and acting like it is is bigotry pure and simple. Which, again, people can double-down on existing bigotry or swing to bigotry from pure ignorant neutrality in situations like that, but a longtime peace activist would know better.

      All Quests that can lose stacks will never cause the player to fall below milestone thresholds. Pinnacle Rewards are now named Mythic Rewards to give a more Blizzard feel. So Mythic-y! The following Summoned Units now lose health each second: Demon Lieutenants, Demon Warriors, Gargantuan, Hydralisks, Roaches, Rock-It Turrets, Rush Zombies, Scarabs, Treants, Tumors, and Water Elementals. Total Health and Duration of these Summoned Units have been adjusted to compensate for this. Structures now prioritize Summoned Units when there are no remaining minions.       Players will now receive an announcement when a quest milestone is reached. This will only announce to the player who achieved the milestone. Ranges of abilities on numerous Heroes have been updated to be more consistent. This may cause certain abilities ranges to reduce or increase.       Map Updates
      General A new Fallback Tower has been added to the longer lanes on each of the following battleground maps. This new tower will die when its corresponding Fort dies: Alterac Pass, Battlefield of Eternity, Blackheart's Bay, Braxis Holdout, Cursed Hollow, Dragon Shire, Garden of Terror, Hanamura Temple, Infernal Shrines, Sky Temple, Tomb of the Spider Queen, Volskaya Foundry, and Warhead Junction. Attacks from the Core, Keeps, Forts, Fallback Towers, and Towers near Keeps will now reduce Hero armor, and the reduction has been increased from -10/-20 Armor to -20/-40 Armor. Fallback Towers have the same HP and Attack Damage as Keep Towers. Forts, Keeps, and the Core will no longer grant Allied Heroes that take damage in their radius 35 Armor for 4 seconds. The comeback system has been slightly magnified, particularly at wide level gaps. Alterac Pass Objective capture timer reduced by 5 seconds in each phase. The first phase only spawns a single defending unit. Cavalry now gain more health in the later stages of the game. Cavalry now take 60% damage from structures (up from 50%). Braxis Holdout Early objectives have lowered in health by 15%, but scaling has been increased significantly after 15 minutes. Garden of Terror Garden Terror health scaling increased. Garden Terror structure disabling plant bulb now damages itself at 10% per second (up from 6%). Infernal Shrines Early objectives have lowered in health by 15%, but scaling has been increased significantly after 15 minutes. Warhead Junction Nuke damage has been changed to flat, scaling damage. Scaling is updated when a Warhead is picked up. Nukes now deal double damage versus Forts, Keeps, and the Core. Return to Top

At 45 hits, gain an additional 75% damage and reduce the cooldown by 2 seconds. Pinnacle Reward: At 75 hits, Lightning Rod provides 2 additional strikes and Stuns for 1.25s on its last strike. Frequent Flyer REWORK: Reduced attack speed bonus from 40% to 25%. Now provides 1 stack per minion and 5 stacks per Hero. At 50 stacks, gain 20 Attack Damage. At 125 stacks, gain an additional 50 Attack Damage. Pinnacle Reward: At 300 stacks, gain an additional 125 Attack Damage. Gathering Storm REWORK: Bonuses are now provided at 30/80/150 stacks, rather than incremental gains. At 30 stacks, gain 30% damage. At 80 stacks, gain an additional 50% damage. When clicking near or on a target, it will attach to that target, but if no targets are nearby, Overkill will start firing in that direction. If Overkill hits a target while firing in a direction, that target will become Overkill's primary target. If Overkill is active when there are no possible targets, Overkill will no longer be cancelled, and instead will start firing in the direction of the last primary target. Fixed an issue that caused mounting to not interrupt Overkill. Valla Base Hatred [D] Fixed Hatred Tooltip. Level 20 Storm of Vengeance Fixed an issue that caused Storm of Vengeance to not grant 2% Attack Speed per Hatred stack. Zagara Level 1 Infest Fixed Infest active current bonus tooltip.
