I'm more excited when avocados go on sale at the supermarket than I am for this.

But can an avocado get you to Greater Rift 100+?

They've had 3 seasons with no changes. So by this point it looks like they are milking the last cowlevels before ending D3's suffering xD

Oh, that is not 3 😄 Few major updates after RoS and since then almost nothing with every season.  Unfortunately they failed so hard with this game. I think more people still play with 2 than 3. Me too.

But goblins are extremely trivial anyway? Unless you find that gelantinous (the jelly blue gobby) then they are hardly worth chasing after all 😕

I wouldn't call that a "change"..

It is definitely not a supreme class game we would expect from Blizzard. But it is not a bad game after all. Most people actually play Path of Exile instead of D3 or the old D2.

Path of Exile is a good alternative in the genre, but in my opinion it's a strongly pay-to-win (e.g. your need plus stash/map tabs for proper mapping and for real end-game content or just simple make that amount of in-game money what you need at the end for gearing or anything).
PoE developed continuously but they make it with that terrible microtransaction system and that's why I still much more like D2 or even D3.

I know, it was just a joke. As much as I like D3 and still play it, it's definitley been left behind compared to other blizz games

I personally just play a bit of D3 once a month and that's it. But I had some experience with PoE. Pay To Win is a really dangerous term to use. You do not necessarily need the additional stash tabs for a top geared character. I am glad that the real Pay To Win games are not popular anymore... where you could buy your supreme weapons.... ugh.
But it is a free game. If you really have lots of fun with it, it should not be a big deal to spend as much as you did on D2 or D3. And I think you get enough with 30 bucks in PoE.

At least that's the philosophy I usually go for. I see Free To Play as an opportunity to use the "saved money" on any additional content of my choice. I play lots of HotS and spent 60 bucks so far. I thought it was reasonable to spend as much as I would on a normal game which usually ends up in the corner after a month.

The first in a series of Diablo comics is coming in a few months and will presumably focus on Lilith based on the cover art posted (that, or it's just someone's imaginative interpretation of a succubus). The first edition of the four part series is coming on November 7th and will deal with "Zealous crusaders and scholars" discovering "dark secrets about the origins of their world!", said secrets possibly being Lilith and Inarius-related. The comic will set us back $3,99 and is one of the "projects" teased in an earlier tweet. We recently learned another of the projects was the D3 Switch port, but there's still something being announced at BlizzCon, so let's all keep our collective fingers crossed for a D4 announcement, even if it's years and years away.

As some expected, Diablo 3 will be coming to Nintendo Switch later this year. There was a bit of a leak today, as Forbes published an article that was scheduled for release tomorrow and then quickly took it down, but Kotaku caught the leak.
Unfortunately this is probably one of the "several Diablo projects" Nevalistis mentioned in a teasing tweet a while ago, so it remains to be seen what else exactly we have to look forward to in the franchise and if there will be any significant new announcements at BlizzCon.
Meanwhile, the Switch edition, already released under the Eternal Collection for other platforms, will cost $59,99 and include all current content, meaning Reaper of Souls, Rise of the Necromancer and all other patches released so far, as well as a (presumably exclusive) armor set that looks like Ganondorf from The Legend of Zelda. As appropriate for the Switch, the game will also have many co-op options, from 4 players playing on the same console, to each player playing on a separate Switch but without needing to be online, and then of course, a regular online mode.
Also, this is the first Blizzard game in 15 years to arrive on a Nintendo platform (with the last one being the "Blizzard's Classic Arcade" pack for the Gameboy Advance, including Rock 'n' Roll Racing, Blackthorne and Lost Vikings).
We'll get the official announcement tomorrow (presumably) and hopefully we'll get to see the Gangondorf armor look then.

Thanks to MMOChampion for catching the news.

Yesterday's leak proved correct and we now have all the info regarding the Diablo 3 Switch port! There's more cosmetics to be had in addition to the Ganondorf transmog, including wings, a portrait frame and Cucco pet!
And we can now finally see the Zelda themed transmog set, pet and portrait frame:

      And the aforementioned co-op functionality:

Check out the full details on the official page.
The Switch port brings a new pet, transmog and portrait frame, as well as impressive co-op options.

Blizzard confirmed they're working on multiple new Diablo projects and they will share more details later this year (probably at BlizzCon).
In the latest video about Diablo released on Youtube, Associate Community Manager Brandy "Nevalistis" Camel confirmed that the team's working on more Diablo projects and they'll have more information to share later this year. She also briefly mentions Themed Seasons and it's likely they'll come up with a new theme for Season 15.

Don't miss out on your chance to grab one!
The only thing more elusive than a Rainbow Goblin in game is a Rainbow Goblin in real life, but here's your chance to grab one!
To celebrate the Season of Greed, we are releasing a robust and thorough Goblin farming guide for your murderous, loot-craving pleasure! It will take you through a tried-and-tested goblin farming route, suggest some suitable builds and equipment adjustments for the purpose, and even shed some light on goblin farming metagame and etiquette.
But enough talk - it's your turn to take blade and spell to their mischievous hides! While using our route (or your own!), take a screenshot with your Season 14 character and a double goblin spawn - and post it in the comments below. Your post will act as an entry in a random raffle to win one of the 20 plush toys we will be giving away.

For the general rules of our giveaways, please refer to this post. The post-specific rules for this giveaway are as follows:
You need to be on a Seasonal character. Make sure we can see your character and the goblins in the screenshot. (Console players, do your best with the pause screen, if necessary - we understand it is slightly more difficult to do this than on PC.) The giveaway will end on July 2, 2018 at 23:59 CEST. Multiple entries will be disqualified. Winners will be chosen at random after the contest ends. Grab your guide, grab your nephalem and get finding! You might even be lucky enough to find a Rainbow Goblin in-game and outside - as Abd Al-Hazir put it - a ludicrous notion, truly!
This contest has now ended - winners will be contacted via PM once we have filtered spam entries, multiple entries and so on. Please note that this can take some time, but we will post here once everyone has been contacted.
