While this is a creative way, it's absolutely an abuse on purpose and therefore an exploit.

I could link the google definition of exploit, but he definitely didnt EXPLOIT anything.
Even the blue post says he does a great job of assisting them with bugs, AND that it was totally an error on their part.

Of course it is. This is not a simple "error on accident". He used mechanics on purpose in an unusual way to get an unfairly advandage. If this isnt an exploit, well then i really have no idea how we should call it ?

There is a huge oversight here. He posted the video after the bug had been fixed. Everyone on here is chastising him for using an exploit. The guy uses creative methods to locate and identify bugs. He then reports them to Blizzard to fix. After they fix it he uploads a video showcasing the exploit. I don't see anything wrong with this. Simply showing what could have been a huge problem and how he helped the devs by locating a serious issue. It's not like he shows everyone how to use it before it gets fixed.

Okay, he told the devs of the issue, made a video of it, and WAITED to post it until AFTER it was verified fixed...

If he's using that as an early advantage (then telling them he is doing so?) he is probably the worst "exploiter" in the history of the word.

Blues even said he was helpful with it and it was a total error on their part.

What more do you want?  Literally, what more?

Wait, i'm talking about the action itself and do not take into account any circumstances. I do not say it was not helpful for devs. What he did is not something you do by accident. Its an abuse of a mechanic, or you dont think so? An exploit is not justified by reporting it. Its absolutely helpful to report it, but it stays what it is: an exploit.

I do not speak for the whole community, this are just my 2 cents about it.

Of course it is.  Because he's not "just reporting it."

The best analogy i can think of is taking another event completely at face value and ignoring any and all supporting evidence.  Example:

Man shoots another man - "murder"
1) man #2 was acting violently, repeatedly beating people and threatening others - probably completely justified because of accompanying events

2) ignore all events and just call it murder because someone was killed and the 'action isnt justified based on intentions/events surrounding it.'

You absolutely HAVE to take into account what he did, because it completely negates any malice, which is required for it to be an exploit.  It has to be.  Otherwise it negates the entire purpose of 'exploit' having its own definition.

A)  He made blizz aware of it first
B) had no intention or actually made any worthy gains from it.
C) waited to do anything AT ALL with it until blizz DID fix it
D) showed people what was up AFTER everything happened
E) Blues even ACKNOWLEDGE you all saying he's somehow in the wrong, ARE WRONG.  They know what he was doing and are perfectly okay with it - only you guys arent because youre taking the whole story at face value (as you even put it yourself), or willfully ignoring that even the devs are HAPPY with what he's doing.

I think thats the point, I'm not with you in your exemple :-). Comit a crime is not justified due to another crime.  Murder is a murder, the action stays what it is. It might seem "righteous", but to achiev something "fair" or "good" does not justyfie to do something wrong. But its absolutely ok if you have another opinion, we just seem to have different ethical values or moral concepts. I do understand your point of view and i dont judge it as wrong. I just fully understand why he got a ban, even if a blue posts state somerhing else. Its still argueable why he got it.

Oh i completely agree, its what defines the crime however that matters.

In my example it wasnt a murder, because the causal events clearly indicate self-defense.

In this ban case, his events surrounding it clearly indicate he wanted no gain from the event, nor meant any harm when it happened.  Blizzard (the 'victim' in this case) said as much!  If anything he was virtually acting as an employee by doing a great job at finding an issue and reporting it to them.

If it hadnt gone on youtube literally none of this would have happened, and nobody here would think he was some 'cheater' who deserved a ban.

A  victory for common sense. EU lack of communication with US devs results in unfair action. They realise their mistake and right a wrong.

We're back to Aberrus in week 2 of Season 4, as the Awakened raids continue to rotate! As you'd expect, everything has changed, with only a few specs remaining close to where they were last week in Vault, so let's see the chaos unfold! One important thing to note is that not only are the rankings different because it's a different raid, gear is also piling up for players and so specs are getting better and better, so we should start seeing which specs are good in all three raids pretty soon.
Note: We are using Normalized scores instead of raw DPS for the Warcraft Logs rankings. The u.gg rankings at the bottom are raw DPS. Normalized scores take into account the outlier boss fights where certain specs could stack massive DPS (due to the nature of the fight, whether it's AoE spam or something else), which would then affect their overall score for the whole raid.
      Mythic
      Overall Damage 95th Percentile
The last time we looked at Aberrus, an Evoker was on top as well - but it wasn't the same one! Devastation takes advantage of the incorrect logging for Augmentation and grabs the top spot! Frost Mage is the overall leader in Season 4 so far, as it was in 3rd in Vault and now sits in 2nd. Unholy is very much up since last week, with Shadow actually sitting relatively stable behind it, up 3. Arms is also in the both-raids-top-10, gaining 4 spots in 5th, while Retribution rises up from the bottom half in Vault. Last week's/raid's No.1 finds itself down in 7th, but is still doing pretty well overall, while fellow Hunter Beast Mastery only drops 3. Arcane is another very stable spec, only moving 2 spots (up), while Subtlety closes out the top 10, coming in from the bottom half. Speaking of the bottom, Fury and Balance find themselves in the final 3, joining the permanent resident Augmentation.

95th percentile Mythic data by Warcraft Logs.
      Overall Damage All Percentiles
Deva is at the very top here as well, but we do see Arms doing a lot better. However, the Warrior was up very high in Vault as well, only gaining 1 spot this week and definitely carrying that "overall best" title for the generalist bracket in Season 4 so far. Retribution makes an even bigger giant leap here, with Frost Mage up a few spots, Beast Mastery extremely stable in the same No.5 slot, same as Shadow in No.6.
All percentiles Mythic data by Warcraft Logs.
      Boss Only Damage All Percentiles
Arms is at the very top in the direct damage chart, as we see three Fyr'alath wielders in the top 4, only disturbed by that pesky Evoker.
All percentiles Mythic data by Warcraft Logs.
      Heroic
      Overall Damage All Percentiles
Heroic players don't really seem to care about the raid switch or different boss dynamics, as the chart is pretty stable. Arms takes down Enhancement in 3rd, with Devastation being the biggest change in 4th.

      U.GG Raw Mythic DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks. This chart is for Mythic only.
We see the same specs around the top here as well, but in a different configuration. Retribution actually takes the top spot from Devastation, but both Arms and Frost are very strong at the top. Arcane is doing a lot better, with Demonology being the biggest difference between these and the points-based rankings.

Blizzard just announced some last-minute class tuning coming tomorrow with the launch of Patch 10.2.7!
      (Source)
We have continued to closely monitor data on class performance and feedback from players. With scheduled weekly maintenance in each region, we’ll make the following adjustments to classes that are over- and under-performing in group content and PvP.
      Classes
Demon Hunter Vengeance Sigil of Silence duration reduced to 4 seconds (was 5 seconds). Sigil of Silence cooldown increased to 90 seconds (was 60 seconds). Cycle of Binding now reduces Sigil cooldowns by 2 seconds per trigger (was 3 seconds). Soul Cleave damage reduced by 8%. Druid Balance Season 4 (2) Set Bonus now increases the damage of your next Wrath or Starfire by 50% (was 30%). Season 4 (2) Set Bonus new reduces the Astral Power cost of your next Starsurge or Starfall by 30 (was 15) and increases the damage it does by 60% (was 40%). Monk Brewmaster Keg Smash damage reduced by 10%. Spinning Crane Kick damage reduced by 10%. Summon White Tiger Statue damage reduced by 30%. Effectiveness of Stagger against magical attacks increased to 55% (was 45%). Healing Sphere healing increased by 10%. Rogue Assassination Ability and auto-attack damage increased by 6%. Does not affect PvP combat. Fixed an issue that caused the Assassination Rogue Season 3/Season 4 bonus to do slightly less damage than intended. Warlock Affliction Doom Blossom damage increased by 10%. Vile Taint damage increased by 25%. Soul Flame damage increased by 20%. Soul Rot damage increased by 5%. Destruction Chaos Bolt damage increased by 3%. Conflagrate damage increased by 5%. Incinerate damage increased by 5%. Warrior Fury All ability damage increased by 3%. Season 4 Set Bonus (2): Rampage damage and critical strike chance increased by 15% (was 12%). Season 4 Set Bonus (4): Bloodthirst bonus damage increased to 35% per stack (was 30%). Protection Developers’ notes: Our goal for these changes is to reduce Protection Warrior deaths to the dangers that are most likely to kill them, like burst or magic damage. There are some talents that warriors have for protection against these threats, like Disrupting Shout, Bolster, or Battle-Scarred Veteran, but it can be difficult to find the talent points for them. To provide more build flexibility we are reducing the power of the Battering Ram talent and moving its damage and defensive benefits into core abilities. We’re also increasing damage across the board and buffing some defensive talent options. All ability damage increased by 5%. Devastator damage increased by 30%. Ignore Pain healing increased by 6%. Disrupting Shout’s cooldown reduced to 75 seconds (was 90 seconds). Enduring Alacrity increases Stamina and Armor by 10% (was 5%) and Haste by 2% (was 1%). Battering Ram now increases your auto-attack damage and speed by 10% for 20 seconds (was 20%). Player versus Player
Death Knight Frost Frost Strike damage increased by 95% in PvP combat (was 75%). Frost Fever damage increased by 25% in PvP combat. Unholy Death Coil damage increased by 75% in PvP combat (was 60%). Festering Wound damage increased by 190% in PvP combat (was 180%). Frost Fever damage increased by 25% in PvP combat. Druid Balance Moonkin Aura’s Starsurge now grants 2% increased spell critical strike chance per stack (was 4%). Evoker Preservation Time of Need healing reduced by 25% in PvP combat. Hunter Marksmanship Rapid Fire damage increased by 45% in PvP combat (was 30%). Aimed Shot damage increased by 55% in PvP combat (was 40%). Sniper Shot now deals 15% of the target’s health (was 20%). Monk Mistweaver Clouded Focus increases healing and reduces mana cost by 20% per stack in PvP combat (was 15%). Paladin Holy Word of Glory healing increased by 15% in PvP combat. Priest Discipline Atonement healing increased by 11% in PvP combat. Power Word: Radiance healing increased by 10% in PvP combat. Shadow Word: Pain and Purge the Wicked damage increased by 15% in PvP combat. Holy Spirit of the Redeemer now reduces the duration of Spirit of Redemption by 9 seconds (was 8 seconds). Mana regeneration is now reduced by 40% in PvP combat (was 35%). Rogue Assassination Kingsbane instant damage reduced by 32% in PvP combat (was 20%). Kingsbane damage over time reduced by 8% in PvP combat (was 20%). Improved Garrote damage bonus now reduced to 20% in PvP combat (was 30%). Outlaw Between the Eyes damage is no longer increased by 12% in PvP combat. Ace Up Your Sleeve now has 4% chance to trigger per combo point spent and grants 4 combo points in PvP combat (base 5% chance and 5 combo points). Shaman Enhancement Healing Surge healing increased by 40% in PvP combat (was 25%). Restoration Riptide healing increased by 10% in PvP combat. Warlock Affliction Oblivion damage increased by 25%. If you find the Mad Merchant's spider mount too pricey, you'll be happy to hear that new spider mounts will be added in the War Within expansion.
      Blue

      Green

      Red

      Yellow

If you're afraid of spiders, there's a new "Arachnophobia Mode" you can turn on in the War Within that transforms all spider creatures and mounts into crabs.

While we can't be 100% certain yet, this week's bonus event quest may award 2 bullions!
The Dungeon Bonus Event will go live this week, featuring the Emissary of War quest. This quest challenges players to complete 4 Mythic Dungeons and is expected to reward 2 Antique Bronze Bullions—enough for a guaranteed piece of loot from the vendors just for completing the quest.
However, remember that this information originates from PTR testing, and the quest rewards may have been adjusted with the start of Season 4. We'll be able to tell you more tomorrow at reset time!

Here's an amusing glitch from the live servers that causes one particular player to see an Arena Rating of 4.3 billion.
Gubigubi posted a screenshot from the Statistics tab in the retail version, showing a 2v2 Arena Rating of 4,294,967,294, which is just shy of 4.3 billion.

This bug has been present since Cataclysm, although the player's team rating has never actually been that high, according to the OP.
Did you encounter a similar bug with Arena Rating?
