Haste-Mastery Questions for Frost Mage

Hello fellow mages, I have a few questions about my frost mage. When I am self buffed i am currently sitting at 49.6% haste (16,785 rating). My mastery is sitting at 39.23% (6968 rating). This is self buffed with my frost armor on. I was wondering if there was a point where the haste is no longer beneficial, I've heard 50% is where to stop stacking haste. If that is the case then I was wondering if I should switch from frost armor to mage armor so I do not waste stats (this would only be in a raid situation with all buffs). Here is my wow armory in case I should instead reforge/gem instead of the armor change.
