We've entered Visions of N'Zoth Week 10 which means that the weekly Conquest cap now rewards item level 460 gear (up from 445), so make sure to collect 500 Conquest to get the weapon this week.

  • PvP rewards for collecting 500 Conquest in Season 4 were of item level 445 (Weeks 2-9) so far
  • Starting this week, the item level of Conquest rewards has been increased by 15.
  • Don't forget that there's a catchup system in place, allowing you to continuously earn rewards if you start playing later in the Season.
  • Don't forget that you must earn rewards from Weeks 1-9 to start receiving ilvl 460 rewards.

Question for a non pvp er, do I have to get all the previous rewards first? (guessing yes since it's still showing a 440 on my toon)

PvP Rewards are on a schedule.  You need to farm all of the weekly conquest rewards at 445 before you get the 460.  You will still have a 445 in your conquest reward if you haven't kept up with weekly conquest.

With that in mind, if you are behind, you can grind a ton of conquest and fill the bar multiple times in a single week if you are behind to catch up to the current reward.

Reddit user Mothka continues with the theme of animals in World of Warcraft, and this time, we have notable Battle for Azeroth quest givers transformed into various beasts. Can you guess who's who?

Now's the time to check your answers!
How many NPCs did you guess correctly?

Rextroy is back after a bit of a soloing absence, and he's gotten some gear ready in 8.3 - so naturally it was time to head into the current raid and solo a boss! Prophet Skitra is the second or third boss of the raid, depending on whether you pick her or Maut after Wrathion, and in this World First video we get a little extra explanation on how he did it by Rextroy (head to 5:36 in the video for that part).

You can also check out our in-depth interview with the man himself, as he goes over some of his more controversial tactics and discusses the difference between an exploit and creative use of game mechanics, as he had a bit of experience with the subject after being banned and unbanned for a solo kill he did (the 0.5 second Vectis kill).

There are some pretty cool discoveries he had to make about the boss mechanics to pull it off so it's definitely worth a watch:

Starting with next week's reset (March 31st/April 1st), all Legion instances will be getting legacy loot rules, aka more loot drops for when there's fewer players. This means you'll be getting random loot not specific to your class, but there will be plenty more of it for those transmog runs.

Check out the full explanation below:
      Legion Legacy Loot (source)
With scheduled weekly maintenance the week of March 31, we’re enabling Legacy loot rules in Legion raids and dungeons.
We’re reached that point in an expansion where the content from the previous expansion no longer requires a full group, and the rewards are primarily sought by transmog collectors. With this change, Legion raid and dungeon encounters will drop a fixed quantity of class-agnostic loot. Today, if you and one other player enter Emerald Nightmare on Mythic difficulty and kill Nythendra, it’s unlikely that you’ll receive any loot, since drop rates normally scale to the number of players. After this change, Nythendra will always drop 5 items from her loot table, regardless of your group size.
Dungeons and many of the lower-difficulty raid bosses in Legion are already soloable by well-equipped Battle for Azeroth characters, though some bosses, especially on Mythic difficulty, may still require you to bring a few friends. Nonetheless, this should amount to a great increase in the availability of Legion transmog gear.
      See you there!
