Rextroy's Crazy Fury Warrior Bloodthirst PvP Scaling One-Shots With No Corruption

Recommended Posts

if you thought our boy Rextroy needs Corruption for his one-shots, you are wrong! In his latest video, Bloodthirst Bloodthirst crits for 600K, and the combo is one of the more complicated ones by far and includes buff stacking, gear swapping, and PvP scaling.

In the following paragraphs, Rextroy talks in depth on how to perform the devastating combo.

Quote

Background:

This combo has a lot of steps to perform, and the timing of it is even more precise than the Bladestorm Bladestorm one. We are going to use 3 different gear sets:

First gear set is the tomb of sargeras set bonus for Warrior that makes your bloodthirst get a 50% damage boost after each raging blow (if you talent into Inner Rage Inner Rage) Stacking up to 500%

Second set is an azerite set with Gathering Storm Gathering Storm traits. Gathering Storm Gathering Storm makes your Bladestorm Bladestorm increase your strength for 6 seconds. Most traits are usually nerfed in PvP by 50%, but if you stack it up before entering pvp combat, it won't be nerfed at all!

The interesting thing about both of the sets I listed above, is that the buffs will remain after you remove the gear pieces. This makes you able to stack up a huge boost to Bloodthirst Bloodthirst, followed by a huge strength boost from Gathering Storm Gathering Storms, followed by swapping into a low ilvl set (with most pieces below 287)

The reason we want to use low ilvl gear is because PvP scaling is a feature that makes you do more damage the lower ilvl gear you are using (with 286 ilvl pieces is the highest you could use to still gain maximum benefit from PvP scaling). What I mean by that, is using 286 ilvl pieces gives you the same pvp dmg boost as if you were naked.

Normally pvp scaling might not be better than having gear, but thanks to a MASSIVE strength boost from Gathering Storm Gathering Storms, aswell as potions etc. The % gain from PvP scaling is by far better than using "good" gear.

Hardest part of the combo is timing it, since the buff for Bloodthirst Bloodthirst  only lasts for 10 seconds. After that you must have time to Bladestorm Bladestorm, Rampage and reach your target before the buff expires! The full combo is that you stack up Death Wish Death Wish and the Bloodthirst Bloodthirst  set bonus on an NPC (preferably toad as Alliance), or a training dummy as Horde (with Critter hand cannon being used for the combo itself) You must get out of combat quickly to swap gear, which is an issue versus training dummies.

Gently Squeezed Toad Gently Squeezed Toad

Critter Hand Cannon Critter Hand Cannon

You could wait for your legendary cloak proc if you want additional damage. (this one also remain if you swap gear) Once you are ready to perform the combo, use Recklessness Recklessness and then refresh your Bloodthirst Bloodthirst  buff one last time. Swap gear into Gathering Storm Gathering Storms and then Bladestorm Bladestorm.

After your Bladestorm Bladestorm, you change gear into a low ilvl set and then Rampage Rampage a toad or critter you spawned beforehand. Use Blood of the enemy before heroic leaping onto the enemy and then crush them with a massive Bloodthirst Bloodthirst  crit!

Yeah, let's keep Legion raid sets active and make scaling in PvP so you do more damage the lower your ilvl is. What could possibly go wrong?

The new War Within Allied Races was added to the Alpha today and we already have a full look at not only all their customization options, but their dances as well, courtesy of MrGM! You can check out the Earthen's racial abilities here if you missed them earlier.
Let's start with the more dynamic feature, with both male and female dances:
And then there's big amount of customization options, as well as a size comparison with regular dwarves:

So, are we liking the new Allied Race overall? More than actual dwarves?

Here's a really cool possibility for the War Within, as a very subtle and mildly mysterious comment from Executive Producer and Vice President for WoW, Holly Longdale, may be hinting at our Warband characters getting a lot more involved in our travels!
First spotted by UlthansWrath, Longdale came up to Taliesin & Evitel at the recent London War Within Alpha press event and had a short chat about the Warband screen, when she casually said "wouldn't it be cool if those were the characters you took as your followers in your Follower Dungeons?" After the obvious confirmation from Taliesin and Evitel that, yes, yes it would be cool, she just said "hm" and that was the end of the conversation.
Obviously this isn't any sort of official confirmation, but considering this is a really awesome idea, it seems likely Blizzard are at the very least discussing it, if not already working on it.

The Warband system is already great, and this would add a lot to it for players that choose to go solo into dungeons, as it would give them even more motivation to get some great characters in their Warband - even if it was just a cosmetic option.
So, what do you think, will we be seeing this feature when the War Within launches?
