This thread lists haste as unimportant for Resto Druid, this is incorrect. Haste also reduces the Global Cooldown allowing a Resto Druid to sneak in additional autocasts. This would allow for stacking lifeblooms on additional tanks, or adding rejuvs to the mix. This won’t be important until late TBC when there are more

Sure, but getting the benefit from it requires hitting specific Haste breakpoints which are not possible to hit until Spell Haste is more plentiful in gear later on.

I will list them and give Spell Haste a more positive outlook once we get there 🙂 for now it is mostly irrelevant!

I think you should change your blue gem recommendation. The purified pearl gives mor add heal and mp5 due to the spirit and is cheaper too.

It is also BiS in P1, once you were comfortable with your Mana! The logic behind it is that, since the vast majority of your healing as a restoration druid is heals over time, they get no benefit from secondary stats and all you care about is +Healing, which relic has in spades, as well as a on-use with even more!

Lower City Prayerbook is pretty good, and has more passive healing, but its on-use is not as good in P2 anymore, as RDruids by now have a ton of Spirit and Mp5 regeneration, making them super Mana efficient.

Special note to the Brewfest (probably in October) trinket, Direbrew Hops, is also amazing, and BiS over Relic, but I put it in the alternative gear because it will only be available for a short time, so pay attention to that in a few months!
