Has the Final Diablo 4 Class Already Been Revealed?

We have an interesting video to check out today, by loremaster Game LORE Dash, as he takes a look at some fairly solid evidence that the Paladin may be the final class of Diablo 4, based on many things we've seen in the preview content so far.

While the Paladin specifically isn't quite a complete slam-dunk, the arguments for a heavily armored class are a pretty safe bet, both from the silhouette angle in the video and just in general. However, GLD makes some pretty convincing arguments, and it a pretty fun video to watch regardless of its accuracy as well! We have lore-based details, the ever-significant char selection silhouette, and a very recent entry from the latest quarterly update and more that all seem to point at a Paladin/Crusader/Holy Warrior type class, so let's get to it:

So, what do you think? Paladin? Crusader? Priest? Or something else entirely?

I wish they would introduce at least one different class that wasn't in Diablo 2. But this is unlikely, since they went full D2 nostalgia mode, although some other class concepts could have been good too. We already had paladins and crusaders, but there are some alternatives like templars. Unless they want to start with necromancer, but then they would miss "armored with shield" archetype on release.

Yeah, I know. Meant new classes specifically, like DH.

Helltides are crucial to your gear progression in Diablo 4, as you can read in our guide. We found a couple of tools that will greatly help you get those ever-important mystery chests and find out when and where a Helltide is up.
We've already talked about the Helltide and World boss tracking Diablo4.life site, but here's a specialized one for Helltides that's even better! The very appropriately named Helltides.com has a very simple timer to track when they are up and when the next one is coming, but also has a map pf the potential mystery chests right there as well.

As you can see, the chests are marked on where they usually are and then players can also vote on those that they find live in the current Helltide. There's also a timer, as the chest reset on a full hour (update: it seems that the chests may also reset 30 minutes into the Helltide, in addition to the full-hour reset). This also means you can get more than the amount listed at the start if you can get enough fragments.

That's two pretty popular chests there! And here's what the timer looks like when an event is not live:

Helltides are particularly important not only because they can drop solid loot, but because of the Forgotten Soul and Fiend Rose materials you can only get there. You'll need those mats for enchanting (aka re-rolling your affixes) and for the final rank of gear upgrades. You can check out our Helltide guide for more information.

Good luck with those mystery chests!

Well, it's good that Blizzard have disabled the Edgemaster's Aspect! It was used in the hardcore pinnacle boss kill, but the World First level 100, Rob2628, has taken it to the next level.
The stacking Whirlwind damage buff that seems to have been caused by the Edgemaster's Aspect "only" got to the hundreds of millions in the Echo if Lillith kill. But now it has been upgraded out in the open world.

100 billion damage. Unfortunately the youtube popups at the end are a little distracting, so here are the actual numbers:

That poor, poor bear. Rob also went on to examine and explain Ben_'s hardcore kill and the way the build works:

The build should no longer be viable, at least he infinite damage part, as it seems very likely that the Aspect to blame is the one that's been disabled. We'll just have to wait and see

Here’s a crucial tool for every D4 player out there. World Bosses are a great way of getting legendaries and even uniques, and the in-game notification system is not good. Luckily, Prowner1 has created a site where you can see if there’s a World Boss up (or even a Helltide or Legion event)!
The site works off of live player reports so you can see if an event is up. However, you can also pretty clearly see when the next World Boss is coming up. There seems to be a 5 and a half hour gap between them at the moment.

So you just have to be around when the next one should pop up, and then check the site to see which one it is! Hopefully this helps you out in the search for those big loot pinatas. You can click here to head to the site.

While the title may sound a little lofty and exaggerated, I assure you it is not. You may already know this trick/tip, but if you don't, it's going to save you a LOT of time and annoyance.
It's a pretty simple one: don't use the default Town Portal key to go to town. Unlike in Diablo 3, all towns that you arrive at with Town Portal have their vendors scattered around in 4. It will take you a while to get to them, sell/repair, go to the stash to put the gems in etc.
So what's the tip? Instead of Town Portaling out of wherever you are, open the map and head to the Tree of Whispers instead.

Now sure, it will take you a few more seconds and some annoyance to click the map, go to the Sanctuary overmap (when you're in a dungeon) and then find and click the Tree of Whispers waypoint, but I cannot tell you just how much time, pointless running around and tedium this will save you in the long run. When you need more advanced services like the Occultist, Jewler, Stables etc., you'll still have to go to a town. But that's a pretty big minority of your portal trips so it won't be a problem.

The gold vendor is almost adjacent to the portal as you can see. The blacksmith is only a few steps away, and the stash is right there at the bottom. Hopefully this turns out as useful for you as it was for me!

Carn is the world’s first player to reach Level 100 in Diablo 4 on Hardcore difficulty. Congratulations to the player and their party comprised of Zizaran, Cocobear, and Steelmage. Below is a short video of Carn hitting Level 100.
We’ve tried to take a screenshot during the stream, but it lagged out for some reason, so here’s at least a shot of Carn shortly after hitting max level.
Here are the current standings taken from d4race.com.
