Rexxar has been portrayed in Hearthstone without his mask. Check out how the iconic Warcraft character looks!

Rexxar without his mask from Hearthstone.

What do you think about his maskless appearance? The receptions on Reddit are mostly mixed. While some would prefer him to "put his mask back on", others think he "looks weird due to his hairline".

Some think Rexxar should feel a bit "out of place" and "not ready for battle" without his mask.

For comparison, here is his World of Warcraft model. (Image Source)

Which model do you prefer?

Wouldn't surprise me if they added his new model in preparation for the Mok'nathal Allied race? They usually add those for big lore reasons

Looks like different artist, anyway they are rarely consistent with their art. It's not uncommon to change designs between different games.

I could swear I saw that orc on that huge ranch in the Barrens. B'ruce, I think. Weird...

Take away the axes and take away the mask, at what point that's no longer Rexxar but just a dumba$$ looking ogre? The mask should NEVER come off.

In their continued effort to remove inappropriate references from the game, Blizzard desexualized two paintings in this week's Patch 9.1.5 Build 40196.
The first in-game painting of a woman was completely replaced with a fruit painting. We compare both paintings below.
      Old 9.1.0 Painting

      New 9.1.5 Painting

The second painting is an update that adds more armor and fidelity.
      Old 9.1.0 Painting

      New 9.1.5 Painting

Blizzard continues to remove inappropriate references from the game. In Patch 9.1.5 alone, they renamed multiple achievements, Mac'Aree to Eredath, and more.
