The next World of Warcraft: Shadowlands Content Update is just around the corner. Watch an exclusive developer preview of the latest chapter in the WoW saga.

Get Ready for Eternity's End

Zovaal, the eluse Jailer and ruler of the Maw in the Shadowlands, has made his next move—and with it, he threatens to rewrite the rules of reality. In Eternity's End, you'll face him, and perhaps save Azeroth and the Shadowlands from a fate worse than death. Eternity's End features include:

New Zone: Zereth Mortis

Zereth Mortis was created by the First Ones, and it's intended to create afterlives. Its denizens—the automa—have created all that exists in the Shadowlands, Azeroth, and realms beyond. It is a strange, alien location that defies all concepts of reality or physics. The Jailer intends to use Zereth Mortis' power to reshape everything according to his design.

Meet The Enlightened

The Enlightened are brokers that arrived on Zereth Mortis a long time ago. They no longer see their world in a transactional manner, but instead they treat their dwelling as a sacred place, and hope to answer to a higher calling—the pursuit of knowledge. Find common ground with The Enlightened to succeed and defend Zereth Mortis.

Decode the Cypher of the First Ones

The automa of Zereth Mortis speak in a musical language that is incomprehensible to mortal races. Team up with a curious automa sidekick in this new progression system to learn the lost language of the Progenitors and delve deeper into the secrets of Zereth Mortis, unlocking an array of new zone activities, daily quests, events, and rewards.

New Raid: Sepulcher of the First Ones

Deep in the Sepulcher of the First Ones lies the key to unlock the Jailer's plans. Gather the power of the First Ones as you pursue Zovaal into the Sepulcher and fight through his forces—but first, you must face Anduin, and discover a way to resist the Jailer's terrifying Domination magic.

Class Tier Sets Return

Harness the power of the First Ones by collecting distinctive class armor sets via raids, PvP, or Mythic+ dungeons. Each set comes with powerful 2- and 4-piece set bonuses that complement your unique abilities.

Other features in Eternity's End

  • Mythic+ and PvP Season 3
  • Tazavesh added to the Mythic Keystone Dungeon rotation
    • Note: Tazavesh will be split into two separate dungeons for Seasonal content.
  • New Mounts and Pets
  • Updates to Professions, Soulbinds, Conduits
  • New dancing mini-game at the Darkmoon Faire
  • And much more!

We hope you've enjoyed this early look at Eternity's End. There's much more to come, and we'll release in-depth previews of the features above and others as we get closer to the PTR and release.

Keep an eye on https://worldofwarcraft.com/news to stay up-to-date on all things Warcraft. See you in Azeroth, champion!

This zone look like it's very far along so far. This preview definitely felt like it showed more of a complete zone than they often do. I am guessing we'll have this live in mid-December.

Doubt it will take them 1 month of polishing it up (cause those were low poly ) and also test raid (And dungeon if they add one) i think 9.2 is a 2022 patch !

Funny how they are talking about pulling story threads from Warcraft 3, as if all this mess was planned so far in advance. They literally inserted Zovaal into the events he didn't belong to and were never written with this story in mind. This zone doesn't feel very alien, and they emphasize how there are floating rocks and trees. Yeah, because we've never seen something like this before... Oh, wait.

You may be right, but this style of video took a lot more production than their usual Ion powerpoint presentation. I'm thinking that means they got these in-game captures at least a few weeks ago. I betcha raid testing will be announced pretty quickly, too.

They know they need to try to keep people playing. I'm the type that keeps playing no matter, but they know they're losing people. They need something out fast. That's why this is a pretty basic patch. No new dungeons, one new zone, one new faction, one new raid. They're trying to churn this out quickly and get out of the Shadowlands. I'll guarantee the reason for no new dungeons is that their entire dungeon team is working on the next expansion right now.

That old hag with the rainbow shirt talks so tired and feels really unsympathetic, I would rather Ion talk about Sylvanas than this.

Wow, just wow. I see the toxicity of WoW players is still going strong.

It was there since vanilla, have you been in a bubble or what? Its the usual cycle;
Thing is fun, has a good player base, becomes popular, attracts more people who dont really give a damn about the game, they push their agenda, experience toxicity and blame it on the players. So far the groups that did this were some streamers, virtue signaling people (you fit there with your "wow, just wow" remark), the whole LGBTQIASDF++ thing and so on.

Where in the video did they push any sort of agenda that caused to you become spontaneously toxic and call someone an "old hag"?

They'll be lucky to have 9.2 on the PTR by mid-December...

I mean, it's already on the CDN. It's about to be deployed to the PTR. Don't just take a dump on other people's excitement

I'm not dumping on anyone's excitement...just stating a fact. The shortest PTR testing in the last three expansions was "Return to Karazhan" in Legion at 41 days. That's already past your statement of mid-December and it's not even here yet.

Considering the scope of 9.2 I expect it to be closer to the longest PTR of the last three expansions at 99 days for "Visions Of N'zoth" in BfA.

Let's check out the unique and rare mounts available from the vendor in MoP Remix.
MoP Remix introduces 29 new mounts for your collection. However, there are some additional very rare mounts from raids and world bosses with a drop chance of around 1%. The best part is that you can buy them from vendors once you have enough Bronze. Just keep in mind that these items have a minimum level requirement and are quite expensive.
Reins of the Astral Cloud Serpent (1% drop from Elegon in Mogu'shan Vaults)

Reins of the Cobalt Primordial Direhorn (1% drop from world boss Oondasta)

Reins of the Slate Primordian Direhorn (Low chance to drop from the Zandalari Warbringer Rare Elite in Townlong Steppes)

Reins of the Amber Primordial Direhorn (Zandalari Warbringer)

Reins of the Jade Primordial Direhorn (Zandalari Warbringer)

Spawn of Horridon (1% drop from Horridon in Throne of Thunder)

Reins of the Heavenly Onyx Cloud Serpent (1% drop chance from Sha of Anger)

Reins of the Thundering Cobalt Cloud Serpent (World Boss Nalak)

Reins of the Thundering Onyx Cloud Serpent (World Boss Huolon)

Reins of the Thundering Ruby Cloud Serpent (Alani)

Son of Galleon (World Boss Galleon)

      Kor'kron Juggernaut (Mythic Garrosh)

Clutch of Ji-Kun (Ji-Kun in Throne of Thunder)

For more details, head to our MoP Remix rewards guide!

The limited time Remix event just got a lot less deadly, as Blizzard fix another bug. Certain high level boss abilities were doing double damage, but a hotfix has cleared that all up!
      Remix (Source)
With a hotfix that we applied a few minutes ago, we’ve fixed a bug that was causing some high-level boss abilities to unintentionally do double damage to players.
For players who have been inside an instance since before the hotfix went out, there will be no change until you leave and start a new instance.
Thank you for your reports and feedback!

Players without the Dragonflight expansion have been having trouble after reaching level 60in the MoP Remix event. Their characters would become locked, as levels 60 and up were part of the Dragonflight expansion, so there was quite a bit of confusion since the event wasn't supposed to require the latest expansion.
Luckily Blizzard have now clarified that this was a bug, and have since resolved it!

We believe that this issue has been fixed with an update that we deployed with realm restarts earlier this morning.

Our latest mount preview from the War Within Alpha covers Shadow Elementals. KSM mounts, anyone?
Blizzard hasn't officially confirmed any KSM mounts for War Within yet, but we've already seen two tints for the upcoming Gladiator mounts. It wouldn't surprise us if these turn out to be War Within Keystone Master mounts for the upcoming seasons. So far, we have three tints: black, gold, and purple.
      Black

      Gold

      Purple
