Game Rant talked to Steve Danuser and Morgan Day about some key characters in Patch 9.2. This includes Anduin, Sylvanas, and Tyrande.

Interview Highlights

  • The Sylvanas-Anduin-Jailer triad were pivotal to Shadowlands story-telling.
  • Anduin has replaced Sylvanas as the Jailer's hand and now joins him on his journey to unmake reality.
  • Sylvanas will be grilled for information, as she knows much of his schemes.
  • Uther will prove integral to the story of "Eternity's End".
  • We will learn about the fate of Anduin and Sylvanas in Patch 9.2. Can Anduin be saved? Will Sylvanas pay for her atrocities and Teldrassil?
  • Tyrande will come face-to-face with a very different Sylvanas than she battled in Chains of Domination.

You can read the full interview at Game Rant.

Ah, the good ol' days, when she was in that crooked hole in the Royal Quarter of Undercity. She was actually enjoyable then.

So it means Tyrande is likely going to spare her, because Sylvanas is now a different person and deserves another chance. Hopefully I'm wrong, but it looks like Tyrande is not getting her vengeance.

Anduin - most likely no. The Anduin we know should be gone because 9.2 took Blizzard way too long. But honestly, if they want to "bring back" Anduin to his BfA state then everything that happened to him in Shadowlands was just wasting Anduin's time. Middle ground would be making Anduin slightly insane and unable to be the king.
Sylvanas - in my opinion she should be interrogated and immediately killed. There is no excuse for all the bad things she did and what she might have done if we did not stop her.
And what about her changed exactly? Sylvanas only recovered missing part of her soul. So what? When the next Jailer appears she will not serve him willingly? Her place is in Torghast, until everything she is turns into soul ash and stygia. Morally grey btw.
But this is all my opinion, i don't have any benefits from keeping sylvanas alive.

Pretty much the entire Kyrian chapter of 9.1 campaign is dedicated to that.

i dont think so is she an angle? god knows she is not but can the other faction leaders maybe see a reason why she did what she did? i think yes cause we dont know all the reasons yet but we saw that the jailer put something back into her right befor he left end i think thats maybe the good part of her that got lost when arthas killed her cause frostmourn eats souls so i think now she is able to see what she had done and that not all of it was right and to be fair if she only was all the bad sides of her cause arthas didnt needed anything good in her as a tool then we must say she wasnt in her right mind its like condeming someone to death that was possesed by an old god its not her fault then

Tyrande chose against vengeance in the NF campaign didn't she? So nothing new there. Not that she needs Elune's NW powers now, but can't see it going down well with Elune if she gives up the powers, then shanks Sylv in the prison anyway.

She should be punished indeed, but lightly handing out death sentences, or killing people at all - isn't something we ought to bring into fiction or reality. Idk about you, but the death sentence they have in the US, isn't a good thing either. I don't feel like anyone has the rights to be an executioner, let alone the 'good' guys on Azeroth. We can imprison her, or if they really want to do something juicy, let her sacrifice herself doing good. That is the only middle ground I can find reason for killing off a character like that.

What.
First of all, don't bring real world problems or morals to World of Wacraft, it's just stupid. Bandits? Go kill 20 bandits. Done? Great job, here is your money. Boars? Faction leaders? Burning of Teldrassil? Her punishment should be death, imprisonment simply won't do. Illidan? Imprisoned > freed > slain and imprisoned again > freed. Zovaal? Same.
Sylvanas does not deserve mercy, she has to be the dumbest character with power in lore for many reasons. Trusting a Nathrezim and Zovaal to name a few + there's no proof she won't do anything like this again.
Before someone tells me that Sylvanas was under Zovaal's control, no, that's not true. In cinematic when she heard the trigger word from Zovaal she attacked him which proves that she was working with Jailer willingly. And was dumb enough to ignore all the red flags.

I'd challange and say 'kill everything we don't like' is lazy writing.

The limited time Remix event just got a lot less deadly, as Blizzard fix another bug. Certain high level boss abilities were doing double damage, but a hotfix has cleared that all up!
      Remix (Source)
With a hotfix that we applied a few minutes ago, we’ve fixed a bug that was causing some high-level boss abilities to unintentionally do double damage to players.
For players who have been inside an instance since before the hotfix went out, there will be no change until you leave and start a new instance.
Thank you for your reports and feedback!

Players without the Dragonflight expansion have been having trouble after reaching level 60in the MoP Remix event. Their characters would become locked, as levels 60 and up were part of the Dragonflight expansion, so there was quite a bit of confusion since the event wasn't supposed to require the latest expansion.
Luckily Blizzard have now clarified that this was a bug, and have since resolved it!

We believe that this issue has been fixed with an update that we deployed with realm restarts earlier this morning.
