Blizzard has posted upcoming Death Knight Tier Set bonus changes that will go live in a future Patch 9.2 build on the PTR.

Happy Friday Death Knights! Apologies for the delayed response, but your feedback here – and across all of the many different channels we’re reading and viewing – has been invaluable. Let’s talk about next steps and what sorts of changes we’re considering & bugs you should see addressed in future builds. Thanks to some of y’all for reporting these!

Frost -
Bugfixes:

  • Glacial Advance should fire when Killing Machine is consumed by Frostscythe
  • Looking into reports of Glacial Advance sometimes overwriting Killing Machine’s buff mid-flight

In general, Frost seems to be doing well from a a power level perspective and both bonuses have a bit more going on to them than at first glance. However, something we’ll be exploring in a future update (as in, likely not this very next build) is a sort of re-packaging of the 2-piece to keep it at the same power level but have more integration into the kit - likely aimed at generating or planning out Killing Machine applications, which in turn may make the 4-piece feel smoother to play.

Blood -
Bugfixes:

  • Endless Rune Waltz’s strength and Dancing Rune Weapon extension should only trigger when Heart Strike is cast, not based on the number of targets hit
  • Numerous inconsistencies with the 4-piece’s on-parry Heart Strike not triggering the 2-piece, or interacting with talents

Goals are to clean up the interactions between Heart Strike and the rest of the tier set - the intent here is for the 4-pieces’s Heart Strike to trigger basically any and all effects a normal one would. This should make it a lot more powerful in standard situations, while fixing the bug that’s letting people solo entire high level keys on their own (oops lmao). Beyond that, we’ll be adding an internal cooldown for the on-parry trigger to have better control over its output for future tuning. Looking towards future updates, a piece of recurring feedback so far has been the pretty stark difference in value and excitement between this set as it pertains to tanking in Mythic+ vs Raid tanking. While the nature of the set’s design is simply that it’s going to favor one over the other, it’s still worth exploring for ways to keep the sort of ‘endless’ value engine in multi-target scenarios while finding a better boost for our Raiders. There’s a few thoughts about how to achieve that (such as frontloading more of the 2-piece’s value), but you won’t see that addressed immediately.

Unholy -
Bugfixes:

  • In some instances, Unholy’s pet isn’t actually receiving the 20% attack speed buff as advertised
  • Overlapping applications of Soul Reaper (from the 2-piece and the base spell) will cause whichever was applied later to be slower to detonate than normal
  • A big one: When a unit dies with Soul Reaper on it, an Army ghoul from 4p isn’t being spawned - this was intended functionality to give the set value in cleave/Mythic+ that didn’t quite make it to PTR

Unholy’s a tricky one to balance given it’s based on Execute windows, but some of the aforementioned bugs are making it much worse outside of Execute than it’s intended to be. We’re going to make all of the above changes and watch a bit while revisiting exactly how the 4-piece’s summon should work. There’s been a lot of feedback that due to it being an Army of the Dead ghoul its duration should be upped to 30 seconds, but also desire to have it spawn Maguses via talents as well. What seems most likely at the current moment is moving to 30s duration and no Magus spawn, but we’re going to take a bit to decide which one to pursue. It’s worth noting that even with a buff to the 4-piece, it’s very possible to see it reined back in (or testing out the other option) due to tuning concerns, so your continued feedback, testing, and theorizing is incredibly valuable!

That’s all! TL:DR - expect all of the listed bugs to be fixed alongside some minor functionality changes, with later builds focusing on updates to the Unholy 4-piece, Blood 2-piece, and Frost 2-piece (in about that order of priority). Suffer well, knights.

Update: testing has been postponed a day:
      Warband (Source)
Hello everyone. We’ve ran into some hiccups the Warband conversion and have to push the PTR testing date an extra day to June 18. We’ll be sure to keep you posted if anything changes.
Please continue to keep copying your characters until June 18 in the meantime. Thank you!

      Original Post:
Blizzard are holding a specific test for Warband integration on the PTR and asking players to help. On June 12th players will be able to copy any of their characters to the new War Within pre-patch PTR, and then on the 17th will be able to log in and test the Warband feature.
      Warbands (Source)
Come help us test the Warband feature on your favorite characters! We want to test how character info on multiple characters merge when it becomes account wide.
This is how the testing will work:
June 12 – The PTR realms for The War Within Pre-Expansion update (11.0.1) will become available to copy characters only. We will ask that you copy as many characters as you like to the PTR, especially multiple characters that you have played a lot will be particularly helpful for this test. June 17 – We will run the conversion and open the servers for logging in. Please be patient. The Warband conversion may take some time:
Your account may take several minutes to gather and convert all characters on first log in. Not-yet-implemented: There will be a dialog letting you know your characters are being added to a Warband. When we open the servers for log-in on June 17, please reply to this thread and let us know your feedback, along with the answers to the following questions:
For any achievements that are newly account wide, did they combine correctly across your characters? Did your Dragonflight reputation progress combine correctly (furthest progress on any character)? Do you have flight paths from all your merged characters? You know your character and accounts best, let us know of any problems you see! We will run future tests as needed. Please note that any characters copied after the test will not be accumulated into your Warband until a future date.
      Known Issues
Copied characters will be missing Dragonflight reputations, any flight points, and certain existing achievement progress. Item Sort and Cleanup does not work as expected in all cases. Dragonflight reputations will disappear in the reputation tab when logging out. Appearance acquisitions are sometimes listed twice in chat. Deposit All Warbound Items deposits more than Warbound items. Deposit All Warband Items pulls items from Character bank. Some reagents cannot be used from the Warbands bank. Items cannot be swapped in the account-wide bank. Players cannot purchase account-wide bank tabs with money stored in the account-wide bank.

While a Galakras skip will cost you 1,500 Bronze, it will save you a couple of minutes! Find out how to skip the boss in MoP Remix!
If you're running Siege of Orgrimmar daily and the Galakras encounter bugs you, here are two skipping methods. The first one requires two Demon Hunter players who need to go through a small obstacle course. So in total, you won't save 5 minutes, but more like 3 minutes and 30 seconds.
Galakras makes Siege of Orgrimmar unsoloable due to the tower mechanic, so for those who would like to skip it, here is another method using the Heroic Leap tinker gem.
We're also including a screenshot in case it gets deleted. Thanks to krin132 for the screenshots!

Blizzard has responded to feedback on the Delves, outlining upcoming changes and addressing a bug that has been concerning players.
First off Brann is getting buffed, with a focus on his survivability, but also his general usefulness overall. Secondly, players have been commenting on mob respawns within Delves and it seems that's almost entirely unintended, as a bug made them respawn. There may be some exceptions, but enemies will not be coming back once we take them out.
      Delves (Source)
      Hi everyone!
Thank you so much for the great feedback so far. We are looking at improving Brann’s survivability and usefulness throughout the delves. It is also a bug that enemies respawn. Aside from some exceptions, once something is dead in a delve it should stay dead. We’ll also be reviewing tuning for different classes, along with improvements to the pain points that have been mentioned here within certain scenarios.
Thanks again, and please keep the feedback coming!

In a completely un-shocking turn of events, Danta has created another great, fast, and easy guide for a raid mount, and this time it’s the Glory of the Thundering Raider achievement!
Here’s the first hurdle: you have to do this raid 4 times to get the last achievement. Previously, this would have meant enduring 3 more "weekly" resets, which can be tedious as Danta himself admits. However, there’s a saving grace! Until MoP Remix ends, the Pandaria raids have a daily lockout instead of a weekly one, as confirmed by Blizzard.
The second challenge is defeating the boss on Heroic difficulty. But the rewards - a ton of transmog gear and a cool-looking dino mount - make it worthwhile!
So what are we doing all this for? Well, completing the Glory of the Thundering Raider achievement will award you the Reins of the Armored Skyscreamer , a pretty cool looking dino mount!

Additionally, you have a chance to obtain two other mounts in the raid itself: the Clutch of Ji-Kun is a rare drop from Ji-Kun and the Spawn of Horridon which is a rare drop from, you guessed it, Horridon, and in another shocking twist, the mounts look just like the bosses themselves.

Danta also recommends using the Instance Achievement Tracker Addon that helps keeping track if you met the criteria for the achievement. So thanks to him for another very useful guide and our brand new mount(s)!
