1. For blue sockets, why is Purified preferred over Royal?
2. Should I gem all haste (save for the meta gem requirements) until I reach either breakpoint?

1. Spirit gives you healing Spell Power as well from the Improved Tree of Life talent.

2. Breakpoint only matters in fights where you are blanketing without stop and even then its just a means to take out any downtime in rotation so if you are closeish its not that big of a deal. Thus its good to gem Haste on yellows but keep taking red socket bonuses with hybrid Spell Power / Haste and considering SP or Haste socket bonuses that need blue gems with Purified. You can use the Celestial Focus build to lower your Haste breakpoints by 3% as well if you are undergeared.

Even with the Celestial Focus build, I'm 244 haste away from that breakpoint, so I've got some work to do. 😅

How does the recent changes in Faerie Fire proc Omen of Clarity change the Resto spell priority? How about glyphs?  It certainly changed the Feral Cat!

It only procs from Feral Faerie Fire which is not a spell Resto can learn, unfortunately 🙂 so changes nothing for us tree boys!
