Necrotic and Inspiring Affixes Removed in Dragonflight Season 1?

Recommended Posts

Blizzard has updated the table tied to Keystone Affixes in Dragonflight Season 1 with all affixes except for Inspiring Inspiring and Necrotic Necrotic. Will both affixes be removed in the forthcoming season?

Nothing has been confirmed yet, but the database table containing affix information for Dragonflight Season 1 has been updated with all affixes except for Necroting and Inspiring this week on Dragonflight Beta. Maybe the affixes wouldn't be ideal for the new dungeon rotation, so they ultimately do not want to include them.

Here is the current pool of affixes in Dragonflight Season 1.

  • Raging Raging - Non-boss enemies enrage at 30% health remaining, dealing 50% increased damage until defeated.
  • Bolstering Bolstering - When any non-boss enemy dies, its death cry empowers nearby allies, temporarily increasing their maximum health by 15% and damage by 20%.
  • Bursting Bursting - When slain, non-boss enemies explode, causing all players to suffer damage over 4 sec. This effect stacks.
  • Spiteful Spiteful - Fiends rise from the corpses of non-boss enemies and pursue random players.
  • Volcanic Volcanic - While in combat, enemies periodically cause gouts of flame to erupt beneath the feet of distant players.
  • Grievous Grievous - Injured players suffer increasing damage over time until healed.
  • Quaking Quaking - Periodically, all players emit a shockwave, inflicting damage and interrupting nearby allies.
  • Explosive Explosive - While in combat, enemies periodically summon Explosive Orbs that will detonate if not destroyed.
  • Storming Storming - While in combat, enemies periodically summon damaging whirlwinds.
  • [PH] 10.0 Season 1 Affix [PH] 10.0 Season 1 Affix - TBD

I'd much rather they took out Bolstering and Bursting, forces the run to be un-fun because you have to throttle your damage.

Inspiring was just altogether annoying when dps break the cc Inspired mob, drag it into the trash pack, and can't figure out why their stuns/interrupts didn't work effectively.  Necrotic was fine from a Tanks' perspective as long as your DPS can help you slow down/cc the pack down for you to drop your stacks.

Nope Kyrian (Bron Tree) Vengeance DH.  I rotate Sigil of Chains and Misery/Silence as needed on the first big pack before I jump away to drop stacks.

Now we just have to remove Volcanic and we only have healer affixes.

Raging, Bolstering and Sanguine are tank affixes.

And if the tank&dps fail to handle them, the healer has to compensate (maybe not sanguine).

One of the Trading Post activities this month requires players to kill the Lich King for Tender and one lucky player went to Icecrown Citadel and looted Invincible's Reins!
Title Description Travel Points Defeat the Lich King   Kill the Lich King in the Icecrown Citadel.   50 50 Tender convinced naturzaros to visit Icecrown Citadel and kill the Lich King who was very generous in return and dropped Invincible's Reins.

The axe-wielding, tree-burning dragon has a sense of humor, as he will laugh at anyone that dies to his fire during the raid encounter (and you get an achievement if you didn't get it before!
The Still Standing in the Fire achievement came along with patch 10.1 and Fyrakk Assaults. It was a little tricky to get as you had to find where to stand and die to the fire, which didn't really 1-shot you. Luckily with 10.2, it got a whole lot easier (well, for raiders anyway). The achievement is named after the original, where Deathwing had to kill you either during the Dragon Soul raid or when he was breathing all over Azeroth.
As spotted by ah_kooky_kat, dying to Fyrakk in the raid also triggers the achievement, and he still laughs at you!

The very old-school WeakAura in the screenshot also got a lot of attention the the thread below.

Players on live servers are currently experiencing a bug with negative Tender.
The Trading Post is currently experiencing some issues on live servers with December's updated rotation, as players are reporting negative Tender when checking this month's wares.
While we are not sure what is causing the bug, we've seen many reports of players being rewarded surplus Tender that is removed upon relogging to the game.

Many players are finding it confusing to acquire the Aberrus Raid Finder/Normal set appearances for transmogrification in Patch 10.2. This post is designed to clarify that process.
Currently, the only way to get Aberrus Normal, Heroic, or Mythic set appearances is to run the raid, user50010892 explains on Reddit.
The player catalyzed gear from Dreamsurges and Time Rifts and came to the following conclusion:
8/8 Adventurer Gear from Dreamsurges (item level 450) gave the Aberrus Raid Finder appearance when catalyzed. 8/8 Explorer Gear from Dreamsurges (item level 437 gave the Aberrus Raid Finder appearance when catalyzed 8/8 Adventurer Gear from Time Rifts (item level 450) provided the Aberrus Raid Finder appearance when catalyzed.
