Recommended Posts

Update: While Blizzard extended the maintenance another hour server are now up but some players are experiencing issues.

Blizzard have changed the maintenance timing for today's pre-patch, as the login screen now says servers are expected to come up at 6 PM PDT, a 3 hour extension from the previous announcement. Hopefully this will be the only delay for today.

:((  East coast, not back until at least 10 PM my time.  No look at prepatch tonight, and working 15 hours tomorrow, so not then either.  Not sure why they don't start patching at like 4AM Central.  That way even a 12 hour down time would be completed when most people are getting home for work.  Just my two cents,  Won't get a look now til Monday as I'm traveling Thursday and through the weekend.  Tonight was my one shot to have a glance, respec my main, fiddle with UI adjustments.

I have memories from every expansion, almost every raid tier, but I didn't play SL and now I'll never have the chance. It's an interesting feeling. I guess I'll never know if I really "missed out".

Unless everyone tells me hunters were better in SL than Dragonflight. Then I'll know.

If there's one thing I'd say you "missed out" on, it'd be the sheer frustration of SL. A system they'd been told all throughout the beta wouldn't work well with the players, on top of a piece of content that looked pretty cool being made mandatory for legendaries thus killing any potential it had, another system on top of everything else added in 9.1 alongside one of the most boring zones I'd ever played before I stopped.

Hoping DF will be better.

Learn from my wisdom....don't hope, cause it will crush your soul when they fail to provide.

What a joyful life you must lead with a mentality like that.

I have learned from experience mate, hoping more often than not, leads to disappointment.

I hoped Gotham Knights was going to be a good game, but its a buggy mess.

Reddit user Bonelord911 tried to organize all specializations by their alignment to the cosmology chart and here's the result!
There's just one slight inconsistency as ItisCaleb and Evonyte pointed out. Monks should be at Spirit, close to reality, since the Chi is a Spirit element according to the Chronicles.

The individual items that comprise the Dark Ranger General's transmog set have been added in the latest Patch 10.2.5 build. The armor set allows players to resemble Sylvanas Windrunner.
Hunters will probably be happy with the addition of the Dark Ranger General's armor set! Here's a preview of the set. At this time, the source of the ensemble remains unknown. It is possibly tied to the Gilnean Reclamation or Trading Post, we'll see.

Blizzard added a new Night Elf child model in this week's Patch 10.2.5 build.
The model is used NPCs that have moved to Bel'ameth and Belanaar harbor, as indicated in the latest development notes.

      BEL’AMETH
Many Night Elves are now starting to arrive in Bel’ameth and Belanaar harbor to settle in their new homes. In addition to these new hubs, explore other areas across the island to find new night elf cosmetic treasures. Here's a detailed look at the new model. The model looks a bit creepy and the feet are somewhat low texture. Hopefully this will get fixed in a future build.

For more details about the new Night Elf home, check the detailed zone preview by MrGM. Did you know Bel'ameth is a neutral city? Even Horde players can enter!

This week's Patch 10.2.5 build brought an updated map of Amirdrassil.
We're talking about the non-phased Amirdrassil zone available to everyone in the latest update. For comparison, here's the old map from the previous PTR build.

And here's the updated map from this week's Patch 10.2.5 build. Bel'ameth has been marked on the map along with other areas like Belanaar port.

Amirdrassil has also been added to the world map in the previous PTR build.

The new Night Elf home Bel'aneth added in Patch 10.2.5 is a neutral city. However, Horde players who enter the city will see a debuff informing them that they are being watched.
The debuff's name is Eyes of the Sentinels and the tooltip reads: Seen and unseen eyes alike are watching your every move.
