Blizzard released a new PTR update and made some changes to the Dragonflight pre-patch event that we cover in our latest post.

This reminds me of Cataclysm, aren't these Primalists too similar to Twilight's Hammer? Summoning wild elementals, infusing themselves with elements, sounds familiar.

Pretty much. I'm willing to see where they try to take it but so far the Primalists just seem like a knock off Twilight's Hammer but I've been avoiding everything story related so maybe we're wrong.

Based on the description of the final boss from first tier their goals seem pretty similar. I wonder though if they are going to be present throughout entirety of this expansion or is there going to be some other enemy, sort of like in MoP.

That'd be a nice change of pace, single story arc per patch rather than trying to stretch one across a 2 year period like the past few expansions have been.

Yeah, killing some proto-dragons and their crazy followers for the entirety of this expansion would get boring pretty quickly. Some variety is required, perhaps they are just an introduction to some bigger enemy in the next patch. Seems unlikely that it would be the Void Lords, these are likely being kept for the next expansion.

Maybe, I'd like to at least see Galakrond but given his massive size I imagine fighting him would be akin to the spine of deathwing and we all know how that turned out.

He would have been a giant skeleton now, not sure how they would handle a fight against him. With Deathwing there was at least more room for creativity, he wasn't just bones so they used his mutated form for second fight. I didn't like any of those fights either.

His bones are located in Dragonblight, you can actually see them in game. I imagine a fight with him would probably be like the first phase of the Carapace of N'zoth fight, lots of tentacles and adds to kill to prevent him from eating them and healing/buffing himself or something to that effect.

I know about his skeleton. He doesn't have any flesh left, so if he had some tentacles they would have to be... somewhat ghostly? Anyway not sure if Primalists have anyone with such necromantic powers required to resurrect him. They are all about elements.

Reddit user Bonelord911 tried to organize all specializations by their alignment to the cosmology chart and here's the result!
There's just one slight inconsistency as ItisCaleb and Evonyte pointed out. Monks should be at Spirit, close to reality, since the Chi is a Spirit element according to the Chronicles.

The individual items that comprise the Dark Ranger General's transmog set have been added in the latest Patch 10.2.5 build. The armor set allows players to resemble Sylvanas Windrunner.
Hunters will probably be happy with the addition of the Dark Ranger General's armor set! Here's a preview of the set. At this time, the source of the ensemble remains unknown. It is possibly tied to the Gilnean Reclamation or Trading Post, we'll see.

Blizzard added a new Night Elf child model in this week's Patch 10.2.5 build.
The model is used NPCs that have moved to Bel'ameth and Belanaar harbor, as indicated in the latest development notes.

      BEL’AMETH
Many Night Elves are now starting to arrive in Bel’ameth and Belanaar harbor to settle in their new homes. In addition to these new hubs, explore other areas across the island to find new night elf cosmetic treasures. Here's a detailed look at the new model. The model looks a bit creepy and the feet are somewhat low texture. Hopefully this will get fixed in a future build.

For more details about the new Night Elf home, check the detailed zone preview by MrGM. Did you know Bel'ameth is a neutral city? Even Horde players can enter!

This week's Patch 10.2.5 build brought an updated map of Amirdrassil.
We're talking about the non-phased Amirdrassil zone available to everyone in the latest update. For comparison, here's the old map from the previous PTR build.

And here's the updated map from this week's Patch 10.2.5 build. Bel'ameth has been marked on the map along with other areas like Belanaar port.

Amirdrassil has also been added to the world map in the previous PTR build.

The new Night Elf home Bel'aneth added in Patch 10.2.5 is a neutral city. However, Horde players who enter the city will see a debuff informing them that they are being watched.
The debuff's name is Eyes of the Sentinels and the tooltip reads: Seen and unseen eyes alike are watching your every move.
