Rumors are everywhere you go, but behind every rumor are secrets to be found—clues even—which lead throughout Azeroth’s varied and variegated landscapes to ancient artifacts and hidden treasures.

What is Secrets of Azeroth?

Beginning on August 31, players will be tasked with putting on their thinking caps to uncover who is behind a recent string of artifact thefts through a variety of daily clues, with the last clue revealing itself on September 13. You’ll need to keep your eyes peeled for daily secrets and tantalizing new rumors and even play a little ‘follow the leader’ with some of your favorite community creators to discover some of the secrets Azeroth has to offer.

Rewards

To those who fortune favors, go the rewards. Here are some of the items you can add to your collections:

Tricked-Out Thinking Cap on a Vulpera and Goblin talking with each other
Tricked-Out Thinking Cap (Toy)
Vulpera holding the torch while standing in a cave
Torch of Pyrreth (Toy)
Vulpera and Blood Elf holding the Titan Key Weapon as a staff
Titan Key (Weapon Transmog)
Vulpera wearing the Deerstalker Hat, riding on the Pattie the Alpaca mount wearing the Deerstalker Hat, standing next to the dog, Tobias, who is wearing the Deerstalker Hat
Deerstalker Hat (head Transmog), Pattie the Alpaca (mount), and Tobias (pet) with Deerstalker hats.

When the Dust Settles

While the last clue will make its way into Azeroth on September 13, you won’t be left out if you don’t get to play along each day. Every clue and reward will remain available to be found long after the dust settles. This event isn’t planned as a regularly occurring holiday, however we’ve heard a rumor there could be more secrets in Azeroth’s future. You just never know.

Happy hunting, everyone!

And that's exactly why I told people complaining about having to do this on a specific day for the meta-achievement to wait until we actually have some specific details about the event. Seems the complaining was indeed premature and unnecessary.

Find out how to obtain the elusive Tusks of Mannoroth and Garrosh's long-removed heirloom weapons in WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria.
While the Heirlooms from Garrosh have been removed with the release of Patch 6.0, there's a way to get them now in WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria. The same can be said about the Tusks of Mannoroth that currently have an abysmal drop rate on live servers.
However, Blizzard has changed the Siege of Orgrimmar lockout to daily with Patch 10.2.7 until August 19, so you'll at least have more chances to loot that or the Kor'kron Juggernaut mount.
Now, to obtain the Garrosh Heirlooms, you will need to farm something called Bones of Mannoroth. This item drops from Garrosh Hellscream in the Siege of Orgrimmar in MoP Remix on Normal difficulty and higher. Currently, we do not know how many bones will drop from a single kill, but you can kill the boss every day due to the lockout changes.
In addition to bones, you will need to farm a hefty amount of Bronze too! Tusks of Mannoroth cost a whopping 38500 Bronze and 20 Bones of Mannoroth.
The heirlooms (e.g. Hellscream's Decapitator) cost 8000 Bronze and 2 Bones of Mannoroth each.
Talk to Pythagorus at any infinite bazaar in the game to buy the items.
Oh, and you can also buy the Mythic Garrosh mount, Kor'kron Juggernaut, for 38500 Bronze from the mount vendor.
For more details, check out our MoP Remix rewards guide!

Reddit user contidivide has created a useful app for tracking your bronze purchases. It contains a list of all items you can buy from the vendors during MoP remix and all costs!
For more details head over to Remix Checklist!

The app was inspired by Kalsith's spreadsheet posted on Reddit a month ago, so if you prefer to create your own copy and use it locally, you will find it here. It contains all prices and items available from the vendors.

Gear in MoP Remix works completely different from what we're used to. Find out how to get gear and upgrade it in our latest guide!
How to Obtain Gear in MoP Remix?
      You can obtain gear by:
Killing mobs, duneong and raid bosses. Opening Cache of Infinite Treasure received from quests. Opening treasure chests. Clearing dungeons, raids, or scenarios. Any difficulty will do. Cloak of the Infinite Potential
You will receive the Cloak if Infinite Potential from the intro questline. More details on that here.
Where to Get Amulets, Rings, and Trinkets?
During MoP Remix, you won't come across any amulets, rings, and trinkets. All 3 are locked behind achievements that you must earn. Please note the achievements are character-specific, NOT account-wide.
Timerunner's Amulet — You will receive it upon completing all Pandaria raids on Normal Difficulty (Pandaria Raids). Timerunner's Ring is rewarded upon completing all scenarios on Heroic Difficulty (Heroic: Pandaria Scenarios). Timerunner's Seal is obtained by clearing all Pandaria dungeons on Heroic Difficulty from Heroic: Pandaria Dungeons. Timerunner's Beacon is awarded from completing any of the 3 achievements with a Timerunner (Escalation). Timerunner's Idol is obtained upon reaching Level 70 with a Timerunner (Timerunner). Gear Upgrading
Gear can have 36 ranks in MoP Remix and you need to spend Bronze to upgrade it. Some of the higher upgrade ranks, however, are gated behind character level and item level.

      Gems
Gear in MoP remix comes with a lot of sockets. There, you can insert gems that boost your character in various ways. We've got a gems guide here with more details.
