Official WoW X Account Poll on Preferred Player Activity

Recommended Posts

Fir_mIkWAAIQi7-.jpg

Here's an interesting poll run by the official World of Warcraft Twitter/X account, asking players which activity "defines" their main character.

The choices were pretty limited, but raiding and Mythic+ came out ahead by quite a bit, at least for the around 15,000 players responding.

Collectors, whether its transmog, mounts, achievements, or pretty much anything collectable, didn't really get a slot in the poll, and they seem to be the next largest group going by the comments, and they may even have eclipsed one or more of the given options. There are also some quite specialized players, focusing in on one very unique aspect of the game, such as Gigabear, who we recently saw creating a Godzilla-sized threat over Stormwind

Probably because the vast majority of casual ppl playing wow do not waist time on "twitter" ...

So the pool was mostly done on semi to hard core wow players.

Why is it no matter what the information is, people like you always wanna justify why the information cant be correct.. And just because you dont do anything on Twitter, it doesn't mean the vast majority of other people dont either. Get with the times.. better yet, stop making stupid replys. For the record, It doesn't take many brain cells to understand that the majority of  WoW players fall into the Raid/M+ catatgory. Rep/RP/Professions are niche portions of the game..I am surprized that PvP isnt higher. The game is built around end game content so it stands to reason that players who do Raid/M+..

I'd have to go with Antimagic on this. Regardless of the social/WoW news platform, hardcore players like raiders are more likely to be following WoW news, updates etc. Casuals are just that...casual. They don't care about the latest DPS graphs, best gear, best class, yada yada.

I gotta say I can't follow that logic. Twitter use isn't really correlated with... well anything. If you asked me I'd say casuals are more likely to be on twitter/social media platforms, but I'm probably wrong in thinking that too. I don't really see hardcore raiders/M+ players voting on twitter polls to a higher extent than anyone else - whether or not you use social media is a very personal thing. And if you do use it and play Wow, you're very likely following the WoW account. From there it's just 1 click to vote.

Just generally though the results didn't really surprise me at all, it was exactly as I was expecting/agree with (and you could definitely classify me as a casual too).

Find out how many times you need to kill Garrosh to buy Tusks of Mannoroth and the Heirloom Weapons in MoP Remix!
Bones of Mannoroth drops from Garrosh on Normal or higher difficulty in Siege of Orgrimmar and keep in mind all raids are on a daily lockout.
You will receive 1 Bones of Mannoroth from killing Garrosh on Normal Difficulty. You will receive 4 Bones of Mannoroth from killing Garrosh on Heroic Difficulty. You will receive 10 Bones of Mannoroth from killing Garrosh on Mythic Difficulty. To buy Tusks of Mannoroth from Pythagorus, you must farm 38500 Bronze and 20 Bones of Mannoroth. As mentioned during soulsobreezy's interview, one Heroic clear gets you around 30,000 Bronze. You will need to kill Garrosh at least twice on Mythic Difficulty or 5 times on Heroic to have enough bones to buy the tusks.
The Heirloom weapons are much cheaper, as they only cost 8,000 Bronze and 2 Bones of Mannoroth each.

To unlock items in the new row, you must complete 3/6/12 delves or world activities. Completing world activities will be equivalent to completing a certain Tier of delves.
To increase the reward's item level, you must complete Delves at a higher tier. We have 9 tiers in total with the last two being only for bragging rights (awarding cosmetics).
Great Vault Requirements in the War Within
Here are the updated requirements for the weekly chest in the War Within.
