How to Find All Hidden Commissions in Zenless Zone Zero!

Recommended Posts

zzz-hidden-sicrits.jpg

Zenless Zone Zero has several hidden commissions that are not marked on the map. Here is a short guide on how to unlock them all!

Zenless Zone Zero is full of commissions that reward you with a good amount of Polychromes and achievements, but some of them are completely hidden. These secret commissions do not appear on the open-world like regular ones, making them easy to miss if you do not know where to look.

You can see if you miss any if you check inside the Hollow menu at Random Play, at the top:

Here is a very quick overview of all the hidden commissions currently available, and how to unlock them!

What Are Hidden Commissions in Zenless Zone Zero?

Unlike standard commissions, hidden commissions are unmarked side quests that require specific actions to trigger. They can be tied to:

  • Exploration: Interacting with certain NPCs or objects in the world.
  • Dialogue Choices: Picking a specific response during conversations.
  • Time-Sensitive Triggers: Some commissions only appear at certain in-game times or after completing other quests.

Finding these commissions can be tricky, but the rewards (ranging from Polychromes, materials, and even exclusive lore bits) make them worth the effort!

Tips for Finding More Hidden Commissions

  • Talk to every NPC: Some hidden commissions only trigger after speaking to specific characters multiple times.
  • Revisit areas after main story progress: Some Hidden quest require you to finish the Story, so try to go back to new areas and talk to the new NPC's.
  • Check your Inter-Knot Page: A few Hidden Quests will appear on the inter-knot journal page, but there will be no notifications, so you have to go check manually.
  • Keep an eye on the environment: Strange objects, graffiti, or small shiny interaction points may hint at secret things.

We will update you if more commissions are added over time!

The latest 2.0 beta leaks showcase Yixuan and the brand-new Rupture specialty! Here's everything we know so far.
The latest beta leaks for Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.0 have revealed Yixuan's current kit, as well as new details about the Rupture specialty: a unique gameplay mechanic added to the game.
Please keep in mind that all of this is based on beta information. Yixuan's abilities and the Rupture system may still change before the official release.
      Yixuan's Kit Overview
Yixuan is a Rupture Agent who uses a new type of Ether called Auric Ink. Both of these elements, Rupture and Auric Ink, are brand-new to the game. While we don't have many details about Auric Ink yet, it seems to behave similarly to other Ether types, like Miyabi's Frost and Ice, and deals Ether-specific damage.
Here is an overview of her abilities:
Yixuan basically will deal massive Ether DMG. Her EX Special Attack recharges with enough Fury/Rage, the exact term is unsure depending on the leak. It replaces Energy for Rupture Agents. Her Basic Attack can summon a Grand Tai Chi Formation, dealing Ether DMG as well. If it is used after an Ultimate, Dodge, or Ex Special Attack, it will also recover Fury.
Her Ultimate is a bit more special: when you use it, she will continuously perform wing attacks, followed by guiding thousands of talismans to attack, dealing massive Ether DMG. On top of that, Yixuna will eventually distribute HP among team characters. It's unknown if that heal is really efficient, or if it's rather basic like Astra's.
Yixuan's Core Passive lets her gain additional Sheer based on her maximum HP. When entering battle, she recovers all her Fury. You can use her moves even if under the Fury threshold, but she will enter a Depletion stat, preventing Fury recovery for 10 seconds. Consuming Fury will also allow her to recover Talisman Value. With enough Talisman Value, an additional Ultimate can be released.
Yixuan deals Sheer DMG, which ignores enemy defenses. It basically replaces your ATK.
Her additional Ability requires an Attack, or both Support and Defense characters in the squad: when they release an ultimate, Yixuan recovers Fury points. When using her own ultimate, she also increases her own Crit DMG by 40%.
If you want to take a look at the original leak, which contains more details on her kit, you can do so here:
Additionally, Yixuan is also expected to receive a special skin! You can check it out here:
What Are Rupture and Sheer Damage?
As mentioned before, Yixuan introduces a new mechanic to the game: Rupture, which focuses on Sheer Damage.
Rupture Agents convert 25% of their ATK into Sheer Force. This means Sheer isn't a separate stat: it scales directly from ATK. So instead of stacking a new stat, you'll just build ATK as usual, and Rupture Agents will automatically turn part of it into Sheer Force.
Here are a few examples from the beta:
Lucy with 600 ATK = 150 Sheer Force Soukaku or Caesar with 1000 ATK = 250 Sheer Force Astra with 1200 ATK = 300 Sheer Force This Sheer force mechanic comes with adjustments made to Core Skills from other Agents! Pulchra, Nicole, Koleda, Astra, and Lucy will all have their Additional Ability conditions updated to also include Rupture Agents.
On a Rupture Agent's stat screen, PEN Ratio and Energy Regen are replaced by Sheer Force and Rage/Fury Regeneration. Rupture Agents generate 2 Fury per second, with a cap of 120 Fury.
That's all we know for now about the Rupture mechanic and Yixuan's kit. We'll make sure to update you as soon as more leaks or official details are revealed. Stay tuned!

The latest 2.0 beta leaks for Zenless Zone Zero reveal a brand-new exploration mode that may offer open-world gameplay. Here is everything we know so far!
With the anniversary of Zenless Zone Zero coming up and the arrival of Season 2 (or Version 2.0), the ongoing beta is revealing some exciting new content. From new characters to exclusive features, there's a lot to look forward to!
One of the most interesting recent leaks shows what seems to be a brand-new exploration zone. You can take a look at the original post here:
According to the leak, this mode might introduce a more open-world-like experience where you can freely move around, fight enemies, and explore with your squad.
So far, details are still limited, but early descriptions suggest this could be a major change from the usual "television channel" mission system that the game currently uses.
Another exciting part of the leak reveals that the Proxy may gain a new skill during this update: something such as an "elemental sight", which seems similar to what the Traveler uses in Genshin Impact. This ability might be taught by Yixuan and could be used while exploring the new zone, possibly to uncover secrets or interact with the environment in new ways.
As always, keep in mind that these are leaks from the beta, and the final version may still change before launch. However, if these features do make it into Version 2.0, it could mean a much freer and more immersive way to play, beyond the usual mission structure.
Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to the official release!
