Genshin Impact‘s Version Luna I, also known as Version 6.0, is releasing later today! Today marks the release of Nod-Krai and the beginning of our Snezhnaya adventures. How Long is Genshin Impact Maintenance?
Genshin Impact’s Version Luna I maintenance begins on September 10th at 06:00 (UTC+8) and is estimated to take 5 hours.
Please note that starting with Luna I, there are new minimum and recommended device requirements. In addition, Playstation 4 users are highly recommended to change platforms soon, as the PS4 will be fully unsupported by April 8th, 2026. Ensure you can still play Genshin Impact after today’s maintenance!
Player Compensation (Free Primogems!)
While Genshin Impact servers are under maintenance, players will receive 300 Primogems via the in-game mail within 5 hours after the update is complete. You’ll also receive Primogems if there are any additional bug fixes.
You must be Adventure Rank 5 or above before the maintenance started to receive the compensation.

New Archon Quest and New Region Nod-Krai
After Version Luna I is live, travelers can enjoy the next Archon Quest, “A Dance of Snowy Tides and Hoarfrost Groves“! This is the next Song of the Welkin Moon instalment, and you must complete the following prior to starting the new Archon Quest:
- Archon Quest Interlude Chapter: Act IV “Paralogism“
- Archon Quest: Song of the Welkin Moon Prelude “The Journey Home“
- You must also be at least Adventure Rank 28 or above!
Once you complete Archon Quest Chapter I: Act III “A New Star Approaches,” you can use the “Quick Start” function to unlock the latest Archon Quest early!
In addition, there is a new permanent region added to the game: Nod-Krai. There are three primary areas to explore: Paha Isle, Lempo Isle, and Hiisi Island. Complete exploration missions to obtain up to 400 Primogems!
New Collaboration with Among Us
After Version Luna I releases, players can log into Among Us and obtain the Genshin Impact x Among Us Cosmetic Set for free! These limited-time rewards, including a unique nameplate, are available until October 10th, 2025 at 17:00:00 (UTC). Don’t miss out!
