Chrysos Maze Grand Restaurant Guide
Basic Event Overview

After you begin the Fairy Tree Hollow Dive adventure quest, you will gain access to the Chrysos Maze Grand Restaurant event. Complete the tutorial to learn the basics of how to play the event.

Each day, you must manage both the restaurant and farm to meet your goals. Your ultimate goal in this event is to promote the restaurant and achieve a Memchelin 4-Star rating. Each star rating standard is as follows:
- One Star: An excellent restaurant.
- Two Stars: An outstanding restaurant worth a detour.
- Three Stars: An extraordinary restaurant worth organizing a special trip for!
- Four Stars: (Can't think of something better!)

To prepare for the restaurant's upcoming evaluation, you will need to complete promotion missions. After completing all of the available mission goals, in addition to meeting a revenue threshold, your restaurant's rating will increase following the evaluation review.
Completing promotion missions will also reward you with Fairy Gold Coins. The money you earn can be used to upgrade the restaurant's facilities, train employees, grow more crops, and improve recipes. All of these are vital to getting better star ratings, which will unlock additional features.

Review the other sections in this guide for more information on certain topics, including how to achieve the highest star rating.
Manager's Handbook

As you progress through the event, you can keep track of handbook goals here, along with your best restaurant records so far. You can complete these handbook goals at any time, though you will likely complete most of them while working on the restaurant.
Completing handbook goals will provide progress points (150 points per goal), which can be accumulated for rewards. You only need a minimum of 2,400 progress points in order to obtain all rewards from the Manager's Handbook.
Restaurant Overview
This section covers how the restaurant business works, how to improve the business's efficiency, and what to do with your earnings after the day is over. For related information, see the other tabs available.
Business Day to Day
Each day, you must manage both the restaurant and farm to meet your goals. The restaurant's day operations follow a general sequence as follows:
- Select today's menu before opening for business
- Receive customer orders for the kitchen
- After the meals are ready, serve it to the correct customer(s)
- Receive money once the customer is done eating, or resolve any emergencies that arise
- Repeat the process until the business ends for the day

Before opening the restaurant for the day, you will have to select an appropriate amount of recipes to accommodate the day's total customer traffic. The game will automatically recommend signature dishes for the restaurant's menu theme. In addition, they will give you a hint for how much of each dish you will need.

If you do not have enough crops to make sufficient dishes, it is highly recommended to harvest from the farm or obtain ingredients from the Maze Store (via purchase or barter). Once you are ready to start the day, you will begin the restaurant's day operations.
How to Improve Work Efficiency

After a customer decides what they want, order the correct dish for the kitchen to prepare. The meals will be made in sequential order. You can order meals in advance, up to three portions of each dish.
Whenever you place an order, it will consume the required ingredients. Be careful to not go overboard, or else your ingredients may run out before the day ends. This is the same case if you upgrade your recipes too high too soon.
If the food is not served before a customer's patience runs out, they will get angry and leave. You can keep track of a customer's patience using the patience bar beside their order bubble. You should also respond to as many customer inquiries as possible, as they may have beneficial effects.

If you successfully serve multiple customers in a row, you will receive a combo bonus. By achieving the minimum combo threshold, you can receive Fairy Gold Coin bonuses as follows:
- 5 Combo: +10% bonus
- 10 Combo: +20% bonus
- 15+ Combo: +30% bonus
What to Do with Fairy Gold Coins
Once all customers have been served for the day, you can use the collected money (Fairy Gold Coins) to invest in various activities, such as:
- Growing crops in the farmland,
- Investing in restaurant decorations and employees, and
- Purchasing rare ingredients via Maze Store
All of these activities, including business operations, are required to achieve a 4-Star Rating for the restaurant.
Farming Overview
This section covers how farming works and how to choose which crops to grow.
After completing restaurant operations, you can use the money to grow crops daily. Once you can harvest the crops, they will become the kitchen's menu ingredients for the restaurant.

Throughout the event, you will unlock a total of three farm plots and many crop seeds. Depending on the restaurant's recommended menu theme, you may want to grow different crops over time. You should review the boosted recipes first before picking which crops to plant.
Each crop's expected yield value is the base stock amount you will receive after harvesting. You can increase the actual yield value by investing in Admin employees.
If you make a mistake when planting, you can undo by recycling. However, please note you will not receive a refund for money spent, so plant your crops carefully. If your Admin employees are trained to a certain level, they can also remove the Seed cost entirely when planting.
Farming Unlock Requirements
Plot Number | Unlock Requirement(s) |
---|---|
First Farm Plot | Available by Default |
First Farm Plot Expansion |
Available after reaching 1-Star Restaurant level 100 Fairy Gold Coins |
Second Farm Plot |
Available after reaching 1-Star Restaurant level 500 Fairy Gold Coins |
Second Farm Plot Expansion |
Available after reaching 1-Star Restaurant level 1,200 Fairy Gold Coins |
Third Farm Plot |
Available after reaching 2-Star Restaurant level 1,600 Fairy Gold Coins |
Third Farm Plot Expansion |
Available after reaching 3-Star Restaurant level 2,400 Fairy Gold Coins |
Starting from 2-Star Restaurant level, you can also enable the mass sowing feature, which will allow you to plant and collect crops faster.

Starting from 3-Star Restaurant level, you can grow Giant Crops via planting certain crops in the same field. Harvesting Giant Crops will yield more ingredients, including Harvest Crystals. The feature is only available for the following crops:
- Pumpkins
- Quillorbs
- Greenie Cabbages
Harvest Crystals are required to upgrade recipes to the final level.
If you upgrade your Admin employees via the Staff Training feature, you can occasionally receive rare ingredients when harvesting. The employee bonuses are only available per farmland, so you will need to upgrade all three Admin employees to have a higher chance of obtaining rare ingredients.
For information on which crops to grow for what boosted recipes, check out the relevant Star Rating section.
Management Overview
This section covers how to decorate and manage employees for the Chrysos Maze Grand Restaurant.
After reaching 1-Star Restaurant level, you can begin managing the restaurant business yourself. You can purchase decorations and recruit employees to improve the restaurant's performance. Additional decorations and employees will be added at higher Star Rankings.
Restaurant Layout

The restaurant layout features several decorations and furniture that you can add to the restaurant. They all have beneficial features and can be upgraded to provide better bonuses.
Decor Type | Bonus |
---|---|
Staff Supervisor | Provides a temporary buff for Servers, up to a limited number of uses per business day |
Dining Tables | Allows you to seat more customers during business hours |
Restaurant Decorations, Chyrsos Sign | Increases customer traffic by fixed amounts |
Tip Table | Allows customers to tip after meals |
Beverage Station | Allows customers to spend extra Fairy Gold Coins before leaving |
Magic Lyre | Increases customers' dining speed |
Staff Training

As your business operations grow, you can recruit more employees. To train them and to unlock new skills, you will need Fairy Gold Coins of various quantities.
Employees can upgrade to Level 2 and Level 3 after reaching 2-Star Restaurant level. After upgrading to 3-Star Restaurant level, employees can reach the highest level possible at Level 5.
Employee Type | Upgrade Bonus |
---|---|
Server |
+10% Movement Speed Boost per Level Up to +50% Speed Bonus Maximum |
Chef |
+10% Cooking Speed Boost per Level Up to +50% Speed Bonus Maximum |
Admin |
+1 Chance to increase Harvest Yield per Level Up to +5 Yield Bonus Maximum |
Based on the bonuses listed above, you should aim to train your employees whenever possible. They all have their own benefits, but training your Servers and Chefs early will make restaurant operations significantly easier in the long run. All Chefs and Servers (except for Milalimem) have an autonomous specialty they can learn, which helps you reduce manual gameplay.
Recipe Development
This section covers how to develop recipes, obtain ingredients, and select which ones for the daily menu.

To increase the restaurant's revenue, you will need to continuously develop recipes. Developed recipes have a higher level and will sell more. However, you will also need significantly more ingredients to develop at higher levels.
As such, you should only upgrade a recipe if you need more Fairy Gold Coins, or have sufficient crops to cover both the upgrade costs and the business's recommended quantity of dishes. This is very important for recipes marked as the menu's Signature Dish, as it has a higher probability for customers to order.
How to Obtain Ingredients
Because ingredients are important for both making dishes and developing them, you should stay on top of every ingredient source available to you.

Your primary source of basic ingredients (crops) will be available through farm harvests. You can control however many you wish to harvest, but keep in mind that all recipes beyond the Lettuce Salad require multiple ingredients.

Rare ingredients are primarily available through the Maze Store. You can either purchase them directly with Fairy Gold Coins (and sometimes at a discount), or barter with crops instead. The Maze Store's Barter feature becomes available starting from 2-Star Restaurant level.

If you upgrade your Admin employees via the Staff Training feature, you can occasionally receive rare ingredients when harvesting. The employee bonuses are only available per farmland, so you will need to upgrade all three Admin employees to have a higher chance of obtaining rare ingredients.
Selecting Recipes for the Menu

More recipes can be added to the menu over time. It is highly recommended to use recipes that are either highly recommended, or developed recipes selling at the highest price available.
Signature dishes, which are always the first recipe on the menu, will have a higher order probability. As such, the recipe should be whichever has the most production available or the highest Fairy Gold Coin price.
You can unlock more dishes to add to the menu over time. As business operations require a full menu each day, ensure you have the following number of recipes added before starting:
- By Default: One Dish
- At 1-Star Restaurant Level: Three Dishes
- At 2-Stars or above: Four Dishes (Maximum)
Themed Dishes

Throughout the event, you will also encounter themed days where specific dishes receive a price increase. In addition, there may be special effects on certain days, such as increasing set meal orders or number of dash-and-diners.
Do note that if you are low on ingredients, or if the boosted dishes are not upgraded enough, it may be better to use non-themed recipes instead. For more information on which dishes apply to what themes, check the relevant Star Rating section. You can also review a recipe's flavor type by selecting it from the Recipe Development menu.
Maze Store
The Maze Store is the primary place to obtain rare ingredients. Some recipes may require rare ingredients for making dishes or development, so it is important to check the Maze Store's inventory before and after each business day.

You can unlock the Maze Store after reaching 1-Star Restaurant level, during the Sweetie Festival. At first, the Maze Store will only sell you a limited quantity of rare ingredients daily. But as your Star Rating increases, you can begin purchasing them at a discount or barter for them.

Bartering at the Maze Store is unlocked after reaching 2-Star Restaurant level. This is a Fairy Gold Coin alternative, as you can exchange harvested crops for rare ingredients. Over time, the amount of rare ingredients required for recipes will increase, so it is important to barter whenever possible.
The Maze Store stocks the following ingredients daily:
Rare Ingredient | How to Unlock |
---|---|
Meat Ingredient | Available by Default |
Honey | Available by Default |
Sour Fruit | Available after Sour Boost days begin |
Cream | Available after reaching 3-Star Restaurant level |

Recipe Name | Required Ingredients |
---|---|

|
Pumpkin Sweet Tart |
|
You should select a Signature Dish that will produce the most Fairy Gold Coins. You can calculate this by multiplying the boosted price with the recommended quantity of dishes value. At this current Star Rating, you should primarily focus on developing up to four dishes.
Because this theme requires a lot of pumpkins, you can efficiently make most recommended recipes by planting at least 50% of your current farmland with pumpkins. The remaining portion should go to the secondary and other ingredients required. If you do not have a third farm plot available yet, it is highly recommended to unlock as soon as possible.
Please note that if your themed dishes do not have a developed recipe, or if you do not have sufficient ingredients, it may perform worse than selecting a non-themed recipe instead.
4-Star Restaurant Level Features

When your restaurant reaches the 4-Star level, you will reach the end of the event. Once you complete the final event mission, the event will begin The Eternal Banquet. During this time, all dishes will receive a permanent +50% price increase. You will also have no more promotional missions to complete.
If you have not completed all of your handbook missions yet, this is the perfect time to complete them. Please note that you are not required to complete all of the missions to obtain all the rewards. For more information on handbook rewards, see the relevant section above.
