Introduction to Ice Element

Ice is one of the seven elemental types featured in Honkai: Star Rail.

2.1.

Combat - Elemental Weakness

When an enemy’s Toughness is broken using the Ice element, they take Ice damage and are inflicted with Freeze, which prevents them from acting for 1 turn. When the Freeze effect ends, their next action is delayed by 50%. Additionally, Freeze deals damage equal to 1× the Base Break Damage at the start of the turn while the effect is active.

If a Weakness Break occurs during an Ice attack, the damage dealt is calculated as: 1 × Base Break Damage × the target’s Max Toughness Multiplier.

There are a number of achievements that can be obtained:

A Song of Vice and Dire - "Inflict both Burn and Freeze upon 1 enemy at the same time"
The Cold Equations - "Inflict 5 Ice Weakness Breaks in a single battle"
Ice Breaker I - "Inflict Ice Weakness Break 100 times"
Ice Breaker II - "Inflict Ice Weakness Break 300 times"
Perpetual Freezer - "Freeze 1 enemy for 3 turns in a row"
Glacier Dynast - "Win 10 battles with a team that has 4 Ice-Type characters"
