Echo of War Guide for Honkai: Star Rail

Echo of War in Honkai: Star Rail are special weekly combat challenges that become available after completing certain main story missions. These challenges let players experience past major boss battles from the storyline, each with multiple phases and powerful attacks.

By defeating these Echo of War bosses, players earn valuable rewards, in particular unique Trace Materials which are needed to unlock or upgrade advanced character abilities. Other rewards include relics, Light Cones, Lucent Afterglow, and Credits. Players can complete up to three Echoes of War per week, using 30 Trailblaze Power for each attempt.

Additional battles can still be played without rewards. The reward limit resets every Monday at 04:00 AM (server time). There are currently seven Echoes of War, each tied to a specific location and version of the game. These challenges are crucial for character progression and achieving certain in game milestones.

After defeating Cocolia (Mother of Deception) in the In the Dangerous Swamp mission, you’ll gain access to the weekly bosses known as Echoes of War. To locate these bosses simply open the Interastral Guide > Survival Index > Echo of War and select "Enter" on the boss you wish to fight depending on the rewards you wish to receive.

Each Echo of War offers different materials and Rewards upon completion. Depending on the difficulty level will also influence the type of rewards you can gain. See below the different Echo of War Bosses and the rewards available depending on their difficulty level.

Salutations of Ashen Dreams is located in the Penacony Grand Theater which consists of the boss "Harmonious Choir" The Great Septimus. See below the rewards that are available upon defeating the Boss:
