Midnight PvP Season 1 Guide

Midnight's Season 1 starts the week of March 17, 2026, opening up for competitive brackets and the ability to gain rating.

Midnight brings with it a new PvP season:

• New honor and conquest gear.
• New elite sets for every class.
• The Galactic Gladiator's Goredrake gladiator mount.
• The Vicious Snaplizard vicious mount (Wins at 1000+ rating).
• New 40 vs 40 epic battleground Slayer's Rise.
• Diminishing returns on crowd control has changed.
• Gladiator cut-off reduced from 2400 to 2300.

The system from The War Within continues into Midnight, using Galactic Gladiator's Heraldry and Infused Heliotrope currency for crafted gear. However, Bloody Tokens gear has been reduced in power to match that of honor grade gear.

The new area for buying PvP gear is located at the south-west area of Silvermoon.

Here, you can buy conquest PvP gear from Irissa Bloodstar and honor gear from Captain Dawnrunner.

In Midnight, the breakpoint for Gladiator has been reduced from 2400 to 2300. It still requires that you win 50 times in 3v3 above the cut-off, but this rating reduction means that a significant bigger portion of players can obtain the mount.

This season offers the Galactic Gladiator's Goredrake.

Like every season, there is also a vicious mount for those not wishing to push to gladiator. The Midnight season 1 vicious mount, obtainable by winning a certain amount of games above 1000 rating in any bracket, is the Vicious Snaplizard.

Midnight takes a swing at crowd control, where previously applying CC of the same category would make the duration go 100% -> 50% -> 25% -> Immune, you now become immune to that CC category after only 2 applications instead of 3. To compensate this nerf a bit, the reset timer for the diminishing return has been reduced from 18 seconds to 16 seconds, creating new cut-offs for crowd control abilities like Kidney Shot that have a 30 seconds cooldown.

A new battleground featuring a 40 vs 40 environment, taking place in the new zone Voidstorm. The battleground features weekly quests, local stories, PvP World Quests, PvP vendors, a hub for PvP players to hangout in, portals to and from Silvermoon and dueling grounds.
