Paladin Addons for Mists of Pandaria Classic

Paladin with an evne larger emphasis placed on Holy Power in Mists of Pandaria being able to track your resources is key to your success as a Paladin regardless of the specialization you choose. Addons can do a number of things from making it much easier to understand information in combat through highly customization alerts to giving you a one button press way to simplify that annoying profession. Highlighted below are some key addons to consider to increase your quality of life throughout Azeroth.

1.1.

WeakAuras

WeakAuras is an incredibly customizable way of processing information on your screen. There are Weak Auras for nearly anything, from seeing how much Holy Power you have available, the likelihood of a trinket proc or even which direction you should move for the upcoming boss ability. One of the largest keys to player performance is giving yourself as much information possible so you can best react to the constantly changing environments.

Each class has an already existing section of Auras made by the community which can be found on Wago; make sure to check it out for some ideas on Auras you may be missing or to find a tool you may have been looking for.

1.2.

Leatrix Plus

Leatrix Plus automates a ton of what would typically be small inconveniences throughout the game like being able to automatically skip NPC dialog, auto-accept quests, and even auto-accept Summons or Resurrections.

1.3.

ReforgeLite Classic

ReforgeLite Classic greatly simplifies the process of reforging by allowing you to either use pre-set stat weights or input your own to achieve the optimal amount of your desired stats via reforging. Optimizing your stats is as important as ever with the massive emphasis put on things like Haste break points and active mitigation so making sure you have as much as you desired stat as possible while keeping things like Hit and Expertise cap in mind can make a huge difference in your output.

1.4.

Deadly Boss Mods

Deadly Boss Mods is a massive pack of pre-made Raid and Dungeon warnings that will help you best deal with various mechanics throughout your adventures in Mists of Pandaria. While not as easily customized as WeakAuras this is a much simpler solution to being aware of various mechanics that may otherwise be hard to manage.

1.5.

Details

Details is an incredible, compact in-game tool that allows you to break down not only your damage dealt but damage taken by you and allies in your party/raid allowing you to get a better understanding of what happened without having to comb over logs in the middle of a raid or dungeon.

1.6.

Spell Activation Overlay

Spell Activation Overlay is a great way to keep up with procs like Divine Purpose Icon Divine Purpose or Grand Crusader Icon Grand Crusader. This addon will add visual queues to these abilities procing and while not quite as customizable as Weak Auras it can be much simpler to use if you are new to customizing your UI.

1.7.

ItemRack

Item Rack allows you to quickly swap between both individual pieces of gear and entire sets. With the addition of the in game gear manager this can be a bit redundant but its biggest benefit is the ability to 'queue' item swaps the moment you leave combat, which while only situational can greatly help.

1.8.

Threat Plates

Threat Plates allows for a ton of customization of enemy nameplates. With Vengeance Icon Vengeance being as strong as it has ever been it is even more important now to ensure you are aware of who has aggro on what target. This addon provides a highly customizable approach to this letting you change things from how the nameplates are displayed to even small alerts when a target changes its primary threat target.

1.9.

AtlasLootClassic

AtlasLoot is a massive set of tables that includes Raid, Dungeon, Reputation Rewards, PvP Rewards, Crafted Items and even World Event loot in a single place with a UI that lets you easily navigate between expansions and tiers to find out exactly what item comes from where.

2.

Paladin Macros

Macros can greatly simplify the process of doing things like using multiple cooldowns in quick succession or even automating a process that would otherwise take several clicks.

We recommend that you check out our Paladin Macros page, which includes a list of useful Macros to get the most out of each button press while playing your Paladin.
