angelkorpse 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2015 I have a duel spec shaman as an ele and enh. and with the new armor stats where they change out from agility or int it seems easier to gear up with. But with mastery and multistrike and haste and crit all different stat priority with the different specs my question is is there an easier way to gear up as a duel spec character with armor or just go with 2 sets of armor and just customize with the stats that needed? Pandacho 286 Report post Posted January 28, 2015 (edited) Frankly, you need two completely different high quality gear sets only if you are aiming for serious raiding in both specs. In other cases just focus on your 'main' (raid / CM / PvP) spec gearing and the second one will come along eventually with the double and remaining from main spec gear or from bonus rolls, follower missions, etc. For doing dailies, quests or garrison stuff you don't have to keep two separate sets really - it's enough to switch the spec and to keep right weapon for both of them. Cantdoit 9 Report post Posted January 29, 2015 (edited) I'd go full haste if you are going to be dancing around with dual spec. It's Enhance's best stat by far, it's not too far behind Multi for Ele's 2nd best, and it's really close after Mastery for Resto's 2nd best. That being said, the few pieces that the stats don't change (neck, cloak, rings, trinkets) I would just enchant the best stat for that spec. Ideally you have neck, rings, cloak with spirit just put mastery on them because they're pretty awful for ele, like wise if you have non spirit int pieces, put multi. and agility pieces put haste. TLDR: Haste in every slot that you're going to share the gear. Edited January 29, 2015 by Cantdoit
