When are you using trinkets as Unholy?

Trying to figure out how to properly manage my on-use trinkets as unholy, specifically Vial of Convulsive Shadows with it's 2 minute cooldown. Obviously using it on the first Gargoyle but then is it better to save it for the next one or simply use it on cooldown?

It depends on the fight. If you don't save up your Gargoyle for a specific time, use your trinkets when Garg comes off CD and pop them together. You'll get more benefit out of them. If you need to make sure you have Gargoyle up at a certain time, squeeze in as many trinket casts as you can, but make sure your trinkets comes off CD when you need to Summon Gargoyle.
