Blizzard has released some of the details of the story and progress of how you will go about working on the final chapter of the legendary ring questline. The Patch 6.2 details are below.

Blizzard Icon The Road Ahead: Legendary Ring Questline

The road ahead is fraught with embers and blood, as it was before—so it goes and ever goes. . . .

You’ve survived a long and dangerous journey thus far on Draenor. One portal has been destroyed within Tanaan Jungle . . . but Gul’dan and the twisted remains of the Iron Horde still strive to open another portal into Azeroth. You’ve allied with powerful forces to counter these nefarious plans, including the Archmage Khadgar. His efforts to fight the rising power of Gul’dan have presented countless new challenges and powerful rewards—but only for those stalwart enough to take on his formidable tasks.

Follow along with us, won’t you, as we walk you through the next—and final—chapter in Warlords of Draenor’s Legendary Ring quest line, culminating in Patch 6.2. And if you’re just getting started—or want to pick up where you left off—we’ve put together a guide of the journey so far.

6.2 SPOILERS BELOW!

Patch 6.2: Chapter IV: Darkness Incarnate

Acquire your legendary ring by completing Khadgar’s quests.

The Final Assault

The campaign on Draenor has been taxing and perilous, but there’s more that needs to be done. In the quest The Final Assault, you’re asked to head back to your Garrison to await further instructions from Archmage Khadgar. Ominous news is spreading that Gul’dan has taken over what remains of the Iron Horde—as if history is doomed to repeat itself despite the valiant efforts of the Horde and the Alliance forces. To face this evolving threat, you’ll need to ready yourself to go back to Tanaan Jungle.

You’re going to need a bigger boat to get to Tanaan, and are soon tasked to build a Shipyard in your Garrison to get you there. You’ll also be able to build a fleet and send ships out on missions to help turn the tide of the war.

Khadgar will meet you at your new dock to explain the next steps to earning your ring and putting a stop to Gul’dan’s nefarious machinations. First, you’ll need to work on Upgrading your shipyard to Level 2 and then take on legendary shipyard missions until you earn the draenic sea chart. Khadgar also wants you to venture into Hellfire Citadel within the heart of Tanaan Jungle for the quest We Don’t Need No Library Card, which tasks you with collecting Tomes of Chaos.

Once you’ve collected the tomes, it’s time to start Cooking the Books—or at least it would be if Cordana would cooperate and burn them as she should. Sometimes, if you want to get something done though, you’ve got to do it yourself. You’ll have to fight Cordana to stop her from keeping the books and taking your precious, precious ring.

Once Cordana is defeated, Alliance characters will meet with Yrel to receive K’ara’s blessing, and Horde characters will meet with Drek’thar to receive a blessing of the elements. You’ll also receive your shiny new Legendary ring. You’re going to need it for what you have to do next. There’s just one thing left to do: go after Gul’dan.

Once Gul’dan has been defeated, you’ll earn the Chapter IV: Darkness Incarnate achievement, and gain a new monument for your Garrison.

Horde and Alliance Garrison Monuments

After all of that work, we won’t blame you if you crack open a celebratory Kaja’Cola by your monument as you gaze at your lovely new ring. You deserve it.

Are you looking forward to completing your legendary ring in 6.2? Hoping Blizzard introduces a catch-up mechanic for alts/newer players? Let us know in the comments.

The gimmicky effect's are not my cup of tea...And are these really on-use? Do the effects stack or will the dps for example just keep cycling their rings for max raid uptime?? What is going on!?!

@Drafty53 Everyone shares the CD for their respective group for the ring. It is kinda like lust where one person activates it and everyone gets the buff for the duration.

The ring effects are sort of a mixed bag for me. While I agree an actual manual activation vs. random proc (ala pandaland cloak) is somewhat nicer, its the shared effect that I'm not huge on. Different classes deal out damage differently and have different burst phases. I also very much can see "NO RING, NO GROUP" happening when trying to PUG. The scaling of Hellfire was done without taking the rings into consideration so I imagine a group of full ring wearers will be able to nuke down bosses faster or cheese mechanics.

I guess the biggest let down however, is the rings don't really grant the player something they don't already have. From a dps perspective the ring effect is effectively the Frost DK Tier 17 4 piece bonus. Do more damage and then after words deal more damage based upon what is already done. I guess they were really proud with that design. With the cloaks we got something new, Melee got some crazy cleave, Ranged got to puke dragon fire all over the place, healing cloak was really nice and your overhealing (which was a big thing in pandaland) got redistributed. These were really interesting an different effects that made you feel strong, and it felt like you had a new power, something was augmented.

The shared ring thing just doesn't give that legendary humph feeling. Although I love the class it feels more enhancement shammy then anything. Yeah you are doing damage but nothing feels overwhelmingly powerful or rewarding.

TL;DR.   Pandaria legendary quest reward= Giant Explosion Firework of happiness.  Wurlurds legendary quest reward = a sparkler

They do need a bigger catch up tool after the first couple of weeks of 6.2.You can only get an extra couple of stones/runes as it is now, but it doesnt really speed us the process.

They just recently tweeted that the garrison quest for stones/runes will appear much more frequently to help catch people up. So, right now I think Max i've seen two a week so maybe we can expect 4+.

Although underwhelming I think its "ok", given the fact they want a legendary for everyone including alts.  Sadly it's just another sign of wanting to progress the game to the masses.  Let's just hope theres something a bit different next expac

Yeah, that was in answer to my question. Glad to see they're improving the acquisition rate!

Build 23623 added five mounts that will be available from Reputation Paragon. For every 20,000 reputation gained beyond Exalted with Legion factions, you'll receive a new emissary cache that has a chance to contain one of the mounts.
Mounts are tied to specific zone caches. No indications if they are a 100% drop though.
Collecting 10 caches awards the Paragon of the Broken Isles achievement. You can obtain the following mounts (sorted as they appear in the video).
Highmountain Elderhorn Wild Dreamrunner Cloudwing Hippogryph Valarjar Stormwing Leywoven Flying Carpet Highmountain Elderhorn and Wild Dreamrunner are probably only ground mounts.
Which of the mounts do you like most?

A guide that focuses on gold gain "on the go", no tedious tasks required.
      Highlights
All materials sell fast No need to check out crafting value vs. profit You make gold "on the way" engaging in a wide variety of activities that don't focus on gold making, such as World Quests or Glory of the Legion Hero. Blood of Sargeras
Get Boon of the Bloodhunter. It gives a lot of extra bloods. You will notice Bloodhunter's Quarry dropping from enemies. It will contain anywhere from 1-5 Bloods of Sargeras. Engage in content that gives you a lot of bloods, the best are Mythic+0 dungeons. After having acquired enough bloods at the end of the day, visit this website to determine the most recent gold value of Blood of Sargeras. On most servers, you will get the maximum value from Potion of Prolonged Power, but we'll be focusing on raw materials. Find Illnea Bloodthorn in Dalaran. If you found which item has the most value, create a macro depending on the item you'd like to buy: /run BuyMerchantItem(1) - Order Resources Cache /run BuyMerchantItem(2) - Lean Shank /run BuyMerchantItem(3) - Fatty Bearsteak /run BuyMerchantItem(4) - Big Gamy Ribs /run BuyMerchantItem(5) - Leyblood /run BuyMerchantItem(6) - Wildfowl Egg /run BuyMerchantItem(7) - Cursed Queenfish /run BuyMerchantItem(8) - Mossgill Perch /run BuyMerchantItem(9) - Highmountain Salmon /run BuyMerchantItem(10) - Stormray /run BuyMerchantItem(11) - Runescale Koi /run BuyMerchantItem(12) - Black Barracuda /run BuyMerchantItem(13) - Aethril /run BuyMerchantItem(14) - Dreamleaf /run BuyMerchantItem(15) - Foxflower /run BuyMerchantItem(16) - Fjarnskaggl /run BuyMerchantItem(17) - Starlight Rose /run BuyMerchantItem(18) - Leystone Ore /run BuyMerchantItem(19) - Felslate /run BuyMerchantItem(20) - Stonehide Leather /run BuyMerchantItem(21) - Stormscale /run BuyMerchantItem(22) - Unbroken Claw /run BuyMerchantItem(23) - Unbroken Tooth /run BuyMerchantItem(24) - Shal'dorei Silk /run BuyMerchantItem(25) - Arkhana /run BuyMerchantItem(26) - Leylight Shard Example: I found that I will get the most value from Fjarnskaggl, So I create this macro:
/run BuyMerchantItem(16) You can adjust the amount of stacks you want to buy, but the best is to just spam the macro until you're out of bloods if you want to deplete them all.
      Enchanting
Greatly synergizes with blood farming. You get a lot of gold by disenchanting everything. Don't disenchant BoE purples! Chaos Crystal is the main source of income and disenchanting epic gear has a chance to yield a Blood of Sargeras. The key is to obtain as much gear as possible from World Quests (look for quests that award purple items when doing your daily cache), Mythic+0 dungeons, LFR  and other sources. If you're doing Heroic dungeons, disenchant every rare item to get Leylight Shard. Disenchant all green gear you come across into Arkhana. Sell all crystals, shards and dust. Order Hall Missions
To further improve your gold gain, don't forget about missions that award gold! If you're success chance is 200%, you're guaranteed to receive bonus gold. Don't forget to put everything in the Auction House.
      Closing Tips
Mobile Armory is far more comfortable to use than the in-game Auction House. Legion Companion App can be used for Order Hall Missions.

Mages are getting a flying disc (Archmage's Prismatic Disc) as their class mount in Patch 7.2. After talking to Archmage Kalec, you accept the quest Dispersion of the Discs and the objective is to complete a Ritual in the Eye of Eternity.
These discs are radiating with power! It must be their proximity to one another. We must take them from here should they resonate further and cause a catastrophe in these sacred halls.

I'll send them to the one place I know where we can reign their energies in, preventing any sort of explosion. I'm speaking of the Eye of Eternity.

There we will be able to safely finish what Antonidas was unable to complete. Speak with me again when you're ready to leave.

22 guilds have finished the raid and cleared all 10 bosses on Mythic difficulty, there's been some more quitting and a lot more videos.

Back once again for the final update in the tier 19 and Nighthold progress race, and a lot has happened since the top 5. 22 guilds have finished the raid and cleared all 10 bosses on Mythic difficulty, there's been some more quitting and a lot more videos.
Here's the top 20, courtesy of Method.gg, which includes Chinese guilds in the rankings, as Wowprogress can't track their armory. Set sail for fail also have a problem with their armory tracking so they don't appear on Wowprog's page either, in case you were wondering.

It's very interesting to see the Asia guilds clustered up in spots 10 to 14, since they get the reset two days after the US and one day after EU. This particular progress was a little strange for the Chinese guilds, however, as they usually come out ahead of the Korean guilds, but this time around their Lunar New Year came down right at the very beginning of progress and so almost all their top guilds took some time off. The 21st to cross that final threshold was another Chinese guild, KeaHoarl, and the most recent Gul'dan killer was Fusion, who were previously banned for a week after exploiting Star Augur.
Some more bad news struck as well, with Danish Terrace joining From Scratch and Midwinter in not participating in progress:
And here are some more Gul'dan videos: the US first/World 5th by Limit and Asia first/World 10th by AFK R. If you missed the top 3 videos, you can check them out here.

That's it for our Nighthold and tier 19 coverage, we hope you enjoyed these updates and their format/frequency. Do let us know if there's something you'd like changed and improved, and we'll see you in tier 20 and Tomb of Sargeras!

Farseer's Raging Tempest is Shaman's Class Mount in 7.2. You're sent to the Throne of Four Winds to assist Thunderaan in the new Gathering of the Storms Scenario.
      Gathering of the Storms
Thunderaan has asked me to send you to the Throne of the Four Winds to assist him with a situation.

Speak with me again when you're ready to leave, Farseer. The quest is quite short. Three color tints are available for the mount and in the recent build Elemental / Enhancement tints were swapped. Elementals have the fiery appearance now and Enhancement Shamans get the airy mount. The Restoration spec's appearance should be more watery, but what's weird is that it has more thunders than the Enhancement spec for now.
Shamans get one of the coolest class mounts, because the vast majority uses existing animations of past mounts.
