Italian Community Site Launches!

Recommended Posts

Blizzard Official WoW Blog

Posted Image

We are proud to present the new Italian World of Warcraft community site! Consider this the Italian base of operations for all the latest happenings in Azeroth, including all the features found here, such as an improved media section, contest details and, of course, community forums. As always, you'll want to check out the news feed regularly; we use it to share community highlights, game information and much more.

Some content is still being translated, so certain sections may still be in English for now, but we will keep you updated. In the meantime, take a minute to look around and get acquainted with the site. We look forward to sharing and discussing the latest World of Warcraft news, content and updates with you on our newest localized community site!

Blizzard is expanding their gifting service by allowing you to send Blizzard Balance to your friends!
      Blizzard (Source)
Struggling to find the perfect gift for a friend, or just hoping to give them the flexibility to choose their own gifts?
We’re expanding our gifting service by allowing you to send Blizzard Balance to your friends, offering you the benefits of retail gift cards in a new and easy-to-use digital format.
Sending Balance gifts is simple: visit the Blizzard Shop, select one of the suggested values—or enter a custom amount, click the “Gift Balance” button, and select a friend.

Blizzard will deliver your gift along with a notification and personalized message directly to your friend, who can then claim the digital gift card balance onto their account.

As with other gifts, you’ll receive an email and a notification in the Blizzard App when a friend sends you Blizzard Balance, informing you that the gift has arrived and is ready to be claimed.
Giving the gift of Blizzard Balance is a fast and easy way to ensure that your friends and family will get the Blizzard product that they want most.
      Happy Gifting!

In October, Blizzard announced their plans to convert from USD to local currency on Blizzard Battle.net in Canada, Japan and New Zealand. All the changes will be live within the next 24 hours.
      Blizzard (Source)
In October, we announced that we’ll be converting from USD to local currency on Blizzard Battle.net® in Canada, Japan, and New Zealand. These changes will begin to roll out in these regions within the next 24 hours.
For players in these regions, Blizzard Balance will be unavailable during the brief update process, but purchases can be made using other payment methods. Any purchases made during this period will be processed in local currency.
For World of Warcraft® subscribers, the recurring subscription will continue to be charged in USD for the next 12 months. If there’s any interruption to your subscription, however—including an expired card, changes in payment methods, or account cancellations—any new subscriptions will be charged in your local currency.
We want to make as many of our players as possible feel at home in the Blizzard ecosystem, and make managing your account with us easier. By switching from USD to local currency, we’re expanding the types of payment we accept and helping some of you avoid paying transaction fees charged by financial institutions.
Please see our announcement in October for more information and follow @BlizzardCS for the latest updates.
