A new version of Patch 2.4 has been datamined in the Diablo 3 Public Test Realm. Here is a brief overview of all the changes.

Diablofans has datamined a new PTR Patch 2.4. It contains mostly numerical changes to Set Bonuses, Items, and Skills; there are also changes to the difficulty of Set Dungeon challenges and Achievements, as well as some new textures. Before we proceed to view what’s new, please remember that this is datamined information and none of it is official yet.

Achievement and Set Dungeon challenge changes

Most Set Dungeon challenges have been made more difficult, since they now require the player to perform a specific action related to their Set Bonus more times than in the past. Similar changes have been done to several Achievements under the “Challenges” category. They either require a higher difficulty to be completed or they have an added time limit for their completion.

New textures

Diablofans has datamined two new items: one looks like a scythe, while the other one like a Witch Doctor mask. Five new Gems, six snowy Portrait Frames and an Overwatch Portrait Frame have also been datamined.

Skill, Set Bonus and Item Power changes

Several Skills, Set Bonuses and Legendary passives have received numerical changes; some got buffed, others got nerfed. At any case, this kind of changes makes sense in this PTR stage. The developers want players to try out all kinds of builds and items, so they can tweak and balance the numbers properly.

This is all the information that has been datamined so far. It is quite probable that these changes will be implemented in the PTR very soon. As we wait for an official announcement, we’ll keep you posted if anything new comes up.
