wow WoW: Warlords of Draenor Digital Deluxe Items Available To Purchase

1 post in this topic

After surprisingly retiring the Digital Deluxe version of Warlords of Draenor without giving any notice, Blizzard has decided to offer the items exclusive to the Deluxe edition in a special Bundle until the pre-patch for Legion goes live.

While the Digital Deluxe edition of Warlords of Draenor is no longer available (blame the Burning Legion), we know some WoD players might still be interested in snagging the digital items that came with it—including the Dread Raven mount and Dread Hatchling pet. Well, here’s another chance: we’ve created a special bundle that includes all of the Digital Deluxe bonus items, which you can purchase now for a limited time.

These Warlords of Draenor–themed extras for WoW, Diablo III, Hearthstone, and StarCraft II will be available for purchase until the pre-patch for the upcoming Legion expansion—after which point they’ll be sealed away into the vault. Please note that in order to purchase, you’ll need an active WoW subscription and a Warlords of Draenor standard edition or higher license on your account. Once purchased, these digital items will apply to all World of Warcraft accounts on your account.

This announcement caused a dichotomy in the playerbase yet again. Some players had initially complained about the fact that there was no communication from Blizzard's part when they retired the Digital Deluxe edition of Warlords of Draenor. Blizzard proceeded to satisfy these complaints by announcing the aforementioned offer. On the other hand, after this announcement, some holders of the Deluxe edition questioned what is the point of buying limited edition versions of the game, if the exclusive items are available to purchase after said Deluxe edition is retired. They also wondered whether this incident will be repeated with following expansions, but a CM in the European forums hinted that this is a one-time thing only.

@Kuolevavelho: This option was added because the Digital Deluxe version of Warlords of Draenor was retired suddenly, and with no communication on our part. We realised this inconvenienced and upset a lot of players and there were many requests from players who still wanted to purchase the Digital Deluxe.

It was a mistake on our part to remove the option to purchase Warlords of Draenor Digital Deluxe with no prior warning. This is our way of rectifying that mistake. Once the Legion pre-patch is launched, this offer will no longer be available.

It seems that the community is quite eager to jump into arguments and take sides this week; we already reported all the controversies created by the banwave on botters and by an incident involving a multiboxer. We would advise everyone to relax and enjoy the festivities!

Armies of Legionfall is a new faction introduced in Patch 7.2. When you log in once Patch 7.2 goes live, Khadgar will be waiting for you to in Dalaran and he will lead the assault on the Broken Shore. The scenario is an introduction to Armies of Legionfall faction and completing it unlocks new World Quests and other quests that unlock new Artifact traits and more.
In our earlier preview, we've taken a closer loot at it, but since there were so many screenshots, we've made a video. Keep in mind that reaching Exalted with Armies of Legionfall is required to unlock account-wide Legion flying (Legionfall Commander).
The video below contains spoilers, proceed at your own risk!
Want to try it out yourself? Head over to PTR and copy your character!

Our preview of Class Mounts continues with the Priest class. The mount is rewarded upon completing The Sunken Vault.
High Priest's Lightsworn Seaker has three color tints, white for Discipline, gold for Holy and purple for Shadow.
The Priest is wearing Normal difficulty Tier 20 Set armor. All Tomb of Sargeras sets are heavily inspired by existing Tier 6 Sets with the exception of Death Knights, Demon Hunters and Monks.

My game time expired about 1-1,5 months before patch 7.1.5 appeared in wow.
I focus only on pvp and I play shaman ele. Is it worth to come back to wow? Can you guys tell in what condition pvp is right now (2s,3s,bg's / wpvp)? Comments on blizzard forum don't encourage me to return.

Abyss Worm is the first mount from Tomb of Sargeras and according to the Mounts tab, it will drop from either Harjatan or Mistress Sassz'ine.
We expect more mounts to be added soon, because Glory of the Tomb Raider currently offers no mount reward.
