HotS: Introducing Greymane

Recommended Posts

Greymane, the Lord of Worgen has been added to the game! Blizzard has released an official spotlight where abilities and their use are previewed.

Even though the Hero is quite fresh, don't forget to check out HotSLogs for his win rates. Greymane is a Hero that can shapeshift from his Human form and become a fearsome Worgen (melee assassin). With Hero Spotlight, Blizzard explains thoroughly his abilities and their use.

So far I am liking him. He has some great pressure but the only thing I don't like is the fact that he has no real Peel outside of Disengage. Here is my build with him so far:

Lv1   - Wolf Heart
Lv4   - Eyes in the Dark
Lv7   - Incendiary Elixir
Lv10 - Go for the Throat
Lv13 - On the Prowl
Lv16 - Alpha Killer
Lv20 - Tooth and Claw

My build:

1: Wolfheart

2: Instatiable

3: Quicksilver bullets

4: Go for the throat

5: Visceral Attacks or On the Prowl

6: Alpha Killer or Relentless Predator

7: Tooth and Claw or Hunter's Blunderbuss

Wolfheart and Insatiable combo makes sure i don't run out of mana and i am almost always at +50% dps, whether in human or wolf form. Quicksilver bullets allow me to attack from a safer range plus keep on shooting more often to keep inner beast on. Go for the throat is the better all around ulti in my opinion, unless you go to a more Worgen focused build. The next 3 tiers i switch depending on the enemy team, if i need to jump and kill more often i take the first choices, if i need to play more safely and attack from range i take the second.

Grenade build is also quite good and does suprizingly good AoE damage.

I started running Insatiable now because he does run low on mana. I take Incendiary Elixir over Quicksilver Bullets because it's good for follow up kills as they try to run away from you and also good for poking all while not having to be dead on with your aim. After 10 I do agree with you, it kind of depends on the enemy team.
