The blues have been at it again with more Legion updates coming our way! Take a look at what's been going on over on Twitter and the forums.

Our first tweet is concerning the changes and removal of many of the minor glyphs on the Alpha. Players have been worried that the cosmetic glyphs that have come to be loved by so many might be gone for good.

Our next tweet is coming out from @DaveKosak concerning the potential of lore side-quests in Legion returning, similar to the Lorewalker quests in Mists of Pandaria.

Our next tweet concerns the Paladins and their spell spell_holy_power.jpgLight of the Martyr

Our last tweet is from @Celestalon in response to the current forum feedback on Rogues. He reminds everyone that tuning is yet to happen and therefore people should ignore where the numbers are currently at.

While we're done with tweets for the day, we've got a blue post from the US forums in reply to a post regarding healing on the Alpha. In order to understand his reply, it might be more useful to check the OP first!

Blizzard Icon Sigma on Healing in Legion Alpha

Thanks for all the feedback. A few things:

1) It's definitely still intended that you consider mana costs in choosing heals. I wouldn't agree with the characterization that any changes (recent or otherwise) reflect an abandonment of this. It's widely accepted among players that mana became overly abundant at high ilvls in past expansions, which did in some cases undermine the resource management aspect. But the spell selections of each class are still made with the intention of mana being an important factor. They are in Legion just as they have been in the past, with the main change being to avoid having mana grow excessively generously throughout the expansion. Jumping ahead, trinkets are indeed one place where we may provide opporunities to invest in more mana. But mana regen will not be passively increasing by a large amount simply due to gear advancement, largely for these reasons.

6) Tranquility and Divine Hymn should still deliver significantly more healing than those players would typically do in 8 seconds. Having these sorts of spells (both the channeled and instant varieties) do "significantly more" than usual, as opposed to the overwhelming strength they have on live, might take some getting used to. But there is no reason they won't be strong and helpful spells to use either at specific high-damage encounter moments or simply because the player needs to catch up in a bad healing situation. In both of these cases, the intention is that the cooldowns don't completely supplant the normal healing gameplay, but give a boost to output at a key moment. On Tranquility and Divine Hymn in particular, the 8-second channel causes the biggest problem in the dungeon context, and both of these spells will do increased healing outside of raids to account for that.

The Aura talent row, Aura mastery spell, and corresponding artifact trait are all reworked in an upcoming patch. Among other things, we agree the trait giving Aura Mastery the effect of all three Auras eliminates too much of the significance of the talent choice.

7) We understand the importance of utility. I want to point out that on live, the dominance of Disc Priest and Paladin in the highest-level raiding is primarily due to their core healing function and not to unique non-healing utility (exception in some cases for Hand of Protection, but the removal of Clemency from all specs in Legion reduces that problem significantly). Avoiding a repeat situation where some healers feel left out of the most optimized Mythic healing groups is likely a question of balancing the actual heals, not of more incidental utility buttons such as Wind Rush, Tiger's Lust, Innervate and so on.

The artifact trait granting a 5% haste aura will also be changed before Holy Paladin is playable on alpha.

The article aims to explain content that will not be available immediately when Tides of Vengeance goes live this week.
      War Campaign (December 11)
New War Campaign chapters await both factions, but they are staggered and culminate in opening of the Battle of Dazar'alor raid.
8.1 Tides of Vengeance: War Campaign Part 1 (December 11th) (A): Continue the War Campaign by joining Jaina Proudmoore in the defense of Kul Tiras. Rally your allies and rout the Horde! (H): Continue the War Campaign by joining Rexxar in Kul Tiras and disrupting the Alliance's Azerite weapons testing. 8.1 Tides of Vengeance War Campaign Part 2 (December 18th) (A): A new ally in the war needs your help-- and a little bit of gnomish engineering--to execute his brilliant plan. (H): Assist Trade Prince Gallywix in a test drive of his deadly brand new mech, the G.M.O.D. Battle of Dazar'alor Raid (January 22)
The raid becomes available on January 22 and that's more than a month away from now.
January 22 — Normal and Heroic Difficulties January 29 — Mythic and Raid Finder Wing 1               February 12 — Raid Finder Wing 2 February 26 — Raid Finder Wing 3  Allied Races: Kul Tiran Humans & Zandalari Trolls
Both Allied Races were confirmed to join their respective factions after the raid and while no specific dates were announced yet, we at least know the unlock requirements for both races.
      Mythic Season 2 (January 22)
New Seasonal Affix: Infested is retiring and once the new raid opens, Reaping will take its place. The Season 2 affix is themed after Bwonsamdi. Every 20% on the Enemy forces bar, Bwonsamdi resurrects spirits of fallen enemies that will charge at you no matter where you are. Item Level Increase: Blizzard's increasing dungeon rewards and difficulty across all dungeons as follows: Normal dungeons drop ilvl 340 gear (up from ilvl 310). Heroic dungeons drop ilvl 355 gear (up from ilvl 325). Mythic dungeons drop ilvl 370 gear (up from ilvl 340). Weekly Mythic Cache & Mythic+ Rewards: Items found in your Grand Challenger's Bounty and end-of-run rewards will have a higher item level as well.  Mythic+2 rewards start at 375 up to item level 400 from Mythic+10. Check out more details in our guide. Azerite Armor Vendor: Items sold by Thaumaturge Vashreeen for Titan Residuum will be increased to a maximum of item level 415 (up from 385). Battle for Azeroth PvP Season 2 (January 22)
The second Season becomes available along with Mythic Season 2 and the Dazar'alor raid. This means an overall item level increase in rewards across the board. Gladiators will be able to earn a new proto-drake.
      Crucible of the Storm Raid
Game files contain all data for the second 8.1 raid, but it probably won't open before the release of Patch 8.1.5.

If you pre-order the Warcraft III: Spoils of War Edition, you will receive the Meat Wagon mount this week in World of Warcraft.
Spoils of War costs $39.99 and comes with various in-game rewards and you can find them all here. The game will be released on or before December 31, 2019.
Meat Wagon is a new mount reward available in Tides of Vengeance. If you already pre-ordered Spoils of War, you will find the mount in your mailbox tomorrow or when Patch 8.1 goes live after maintenance in your gameplay region. The mount is really cool and comes with a catapult that hurls meat.
"A favorite unit of the Lich King, both for its power as a siege weapon, and the satisfying sound of flung meat."

Do you like the mount? Let us know in the comments!

With a fair amount of game adaptations heading over to Netflix in TV show form, the most recent and significant being the Witcher, Str1der has taken it upon himself to make a trailer for what a World of Warcraft show might look like. With the Warcraft movie not having done so well and having somewhat deviated from the original lore (although, so has the game itself at this point), it would really be a nice thing to see all the ancillary content featured in novels and comics etc. brought together in TV show format.
The trailer is pretty well put together, however the choice of the song "Human" is clearly Alliance-favoritism and wholly inappropriate, therefore we all need to boycott it!!11 (For those of you that are sensitive to the faction allegiances, well, first of all, what's wrong with you, and second, that was a joke.)
My personal favorite is when Illidan shows up and the song goes "some people have real problems", which is perhaps one of the most accurate song to scene pairings in the history of trailers.
So, what do you think of the trailer and the idea of a Netflix WoW show? Should it focus on present day Azeroth and follow the expansions to give us a better understanding of the characters we interact with, or would you prefer it to start from the very beginning and eventually catch up?

      "A true union of minds."

As with every major content update, it's time for new secrets! According to the latest tweet by Muffinus, this appears to be the most elaborate puzzle ever, as the image depicts Celestalon who is responsible for the Endless Halls puzzle.
Placeholder for tweet 1071167789354774528 Currently, we don't know how the mount works but there's an interesting spell "Joined Hivemind" related to it that suggests multiple passengers and each passenger increases its mounted speed by 10%.
