PvP Changes in 5.3

All characters now have a base Resilience of 65%.

Resilience has been removed from most PvP gear.

Does this worry anyone? How do you feel about it? I personally dont like it.

I like it, being on a PvP realm and getting bored of being ganked by 5 guys at a time.

I don't know how this will work in pvp, I guess we'll have to just wait and see.

If its 5 guys, no amount of resilience is going to help.

Do you grind PVP gear? To me, the reason for being on a PVP server is to PVP. Not saying that people should be restricted to PVP, but I would think that would be the grind priority for gear. It's easy enough to change gear whenever somebody leaves a PVE instance.

I just can't help but think this whole change was created for people that don't make it a priority to grind PVP gear on a PVP server. Why else would they do it?

It was done for two factions of people, I think. The first one being new PvP players; It helped my mate lately to stand a chance in BGs and Arenas with part honor, part green gear. He did not have a huge healing output, but he still had more fun than before the patch. The same thing goes for PvE players that just want to run a BG or two. Or even start with PvP. Before 5.3 it was tedious to farm PvP gear with even a full equipped PvE character and although PvP gear is kind of useful in PvE, PvE gear was next to nothing in PvP. I think it was a useful and needed change, although I still think that they should just have one gear tier in PvP - for the balancing.
