Him, this is my first post around here, I was watching other topics about dps and whatnot, and I was wondering how can i raise my dps, since i realize its below average in most of the fights, and after watching worldoflogs, i realize I could do much, much better :(

Ok, here is my info:

The log of my guild's most recent battle:

Details for my rogue on said fight:

I am basically following the rotation i was told in the combat rogue guide, I would post someone else's log here, but im the only combat rogue in the guild, and the other assassination rogues are way beyond my reach in dps terms =/

So, any advice? Thanks in advance :)

I've carefully studied your logs and compared them with other players that have about the same gear. I used Jin'rokh for my comparison.

The first thing I've noticed is that your cooldown usage on that fight is not synchronized with Conductive Waters. So that's something you need to pay attention to. Every time there is a damage-increasing mechanic in a fight, you need to take advantage of it properly by trying to have your important cooldowns available when that damage-increasing mechanic comes.

The second thing I've noticed is that you don't make good use of Anticipation or Deep Insight. Using your cooldowns during Deep Insight and saving Combo Points for Deep Insight is very important. There is a section about that particular aspect in our fight, which I advise you to read: https://www.icy-veins.com/combat-rogue-wow-pve-dps-rotation-cooldowns-abilities#sec-5-3

It may not seem like it but the bit about Bandit's Guile is really important. It's what makes and breaks a Combat Rogue, basically.
