hi everyone :) little question here :P

a lvl 4 who has been in our clan for 1 day and only played for about 2 min has earned 9600000 weekly guild experience, while my lvl 12 who I played and quested non stop, with 2 BG's thrown in (which we won) for 4 hours ( gaining 4 lvls in the process) only got 661165 thats a 8,938,845. point difference!I just don't get it....

the reason this concerns me is because the clan offers $500 gold to the player with the most weekly activity points, how is a lvl 4 who hasn't played out experiencing all of us?

this is strange, defonately something i havnt seen before, guild mxp is normally generated through top end questing and raiding, so as a level four he cant have done much so maybe its a bug with the system

This actually is untrue as of Mists of Pandaria. Completing any quest gives a flat amount of guild reputation and 60,000 guild experience. All characters now get reputation and guild experience at the same rate independant of their level.

The low level character having such high experience is probably a but or something displaying wrong.

yes, even with that statement, level 4 isnt enough quests to be that much higher than Hasita who played longewr and is hiogher level, reulting in more questrs for more xp

Being at a lower level, you level up faster because you complete more quests faster with a lower requirement to level up. If you want to win your weekly 500 gold, create a new character each week and do nothing but quest.

this is a new charater shes only lvl 12, as for the lvl 4 , how could he have done 160 quests and still be lvl 4?

Turned off xp gain maybe? I don't think turning off normal xp gain stops you from gaining guild experience.

This is exactly what I was thinking. Xp gain and guild Xp are not the same. Plus at the lower level in the original areas there are a ton more quests that can be done, especially if they migrate to the other race's low level areas. Run around Org, UC, SM & TB until you only have a few quests left, turn xp gain back on level to reveal new quests and turn it back off, rinse, repeat. Don't hate the player for gaming the game.

      Who We Are
Tequila Sundown is a mythic raid team formed within the <Karma Horde> guild on US-Stormreaver. Lead by a husband/wife team with high-level raiding experience dating back to WotLK, we're a "positively determined" progression team that maintains a light-hearted atmosphere while tackling mythic difficulty content. We're mature adults with jobs and family seeking like-minded players who have a passion for the game but want to avoid the needless angst or drama that often gets associated with progression raiding. We log on to have fun - so come have some fun with us!

      A Team Within a Community
Our raid team is one of three within the larger guild of <Karma Horde>, which was formed back during WotLK. As such, the guild and Discord are very active and social. There are always people around online and in-game. The community atmosphere is welcoming and friendly to players of all levels. The guild enforces a Code of Conduct that has zero tolerance for hate/offensive speech.
We are always looking to add players with a friendly personality and lots of passion for the game. We want players who are going to log in on non-raid nights and be down for all the other things we're into: pushing mythic+, doing world quests, PVP shenanigans, achievement hunting, hyper-competitive fishing.. there's so much to do and so many ways to enjoy the game. This is our favorite hobby and we'd like to play with you if it is yours, too.

      Progression Goals
We are 7/11 Mythic Antorus, Heroic AOTC.
We strive for a fun environment that takes the challenges of mythic seriously and giving the content the respect it deserves. Our aim is, as all mythic teams, full clear of content but with always keeping the friendly spirit of camaraderie alive. Performance matters, but so does staying positive and finding the fun in the difficulty of a raid. We do not require mythic raid experience to join our team but we do expect mythic-level dedication and accountability from all of our raiders. You must be able to take constructive criticism and have ownership over your level of play, and be willing to put in the effort to be a contribution to the team.

      Raid Days/Times
      Our mandatory raids are:
      Tuesdays 8:45pm PT - 11:45pm PT
      Thursdays 8:45pm PT - 11:45pm PT
      Optional:
      Sundays 8:45pm PT - 11:45pm PT
Sundays are for farming the previous raid difficulty.

      Recruitment Needs
DPS: We are now recruiting mythic level DPS for Battle for Azeroth.

      Interested? Next steps:
Please check out our team's wiki on the <Karma Horde> subreddit.
Read the Guild Code of Conduct
Complete and submit a New Raider Application
      Join the guild's Discord server
Add the Raid Leaders on bnet:  joat#1832 & lambkill#1856
Looking forward to hearing from you!

We also enjoy a variety of other activities such as running a lot of Mythic+ dungeons doing alt-runs, achievement runs etc.

There are a few things we hold in high value but above else we value friendliness and politeness towards guildies and other players and skillfulness when it comes to the more serious parts of the game.

      Quick info:
      <Shiny Happy People>
      Faction: Alliance

      Proposed raid days: Wednesday, Thursday
Proposed raid times: 21:00 - 23:30 server time

      Discord
      Contact: PinkFap#2713
      Wagwan blud,
We are Shiny Happy People! A group of super duper fun, friendly and fun-loving friends who have known and played with each other for many years. We're a very diverse bunch. We have white Dutchman, white Englishman and white Vikingman. A more culturally diverse group you cannae havenae.
While we play many different games, this recruitment ad' primary focus is on World of Warcraft. We feel it is the game that requires the most organizing and has a slightly higher barrier to entry than some of the other games we play. However joining SHP means gaining entry to much fun being had with many good people across a wide variety of PC video games.
Our guild was founded by a large group of rerollers in Warlords of Draenor shortly after the launch of the Hellfire Citadel patch. As the guild Movida we cleared HFC on Heroic in a timely manner and also had a short but fruitless stint in Mythic. Due to a lack of good recruits the guild fell apart and anyone with a grain of skill promptly f'd off for greener pastures.
In comes SHP; A long-standing semi-small group of friends hell-bent on not really doing much or changing at all for the Battle For Azeroth expansion. We're a bunch of uncensored slackers trying to have some fun in this outdated piece of !@#$ we still pay for on a monthly basis.
Despite adopting the life of a casual we are by no means trash players. Some of us have played and raided since launch. Most of us have raided on a hardcore Heroic/Mythic level at some point in this game' lifespan. A lot of that raiding was even done together. But we've decided that Mythic simply is too stressful and too time consuming for a bunch of twenty-something-year-old single (mostly) men. I mean, some of us have oil night at the Chaps Cruising-Bar to go to!
With that in mind we've decided we want to take things slow and enjoy WoW the way it was meant to be enjoyed; Barely. We will be a Heroic focused raiding guild. Raid days and times aren't set in stone but we do know that we want to keep it to 2 days, most likely on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 21:00 - 23:30 server time. We have no strict attendance rules. Odds are you scrubs bring about as much to the table as an LFR hero and are thus easily replaced by a PUG anyway. We do ask that you let someone know if you can't make it to a raid you signed up for. Wether that is before raid start or 2 days after.
If you think you have what it takes to play with us and then not report us then head to our website and drop an application or join our Discord and bother someone there. For questions or concerns you can contact me on my Bnet.
      Thank you for reading!

We raid 3 nights a week, Wednesdays, Sundays and Mondays, from 20:00 till 23:00 server time.
Although we are a 20-man guild, we usually run an extra group in order to get more people to experience the joys of raiding, help new raiders learn the Knot's way to down bosses and gearing up. Usually, these runs happen on Thursdays. Also, every Friday and sometimes Saturdays too, we're on RBGs killing alliance scums!
Saturdays are generally left for those RBGs or older content runs for fun and drinking!
Our current guild progress is 9/11 on Antorus mythic, and we're focusing on getting further Mythic progress. Our aim is to always progress as much as possible but also to have a relaxed and fun atmosphere at the same time!
