wow Legion Beta Launch Test, July 7

1 post in this topic

There will be a simulation test of Legion's launch day tonight/later today on the Beta servers. Look out for invites!

As the years progress, the launch day of each new WoW expansion gets smoother and smoother. Blizzard wants to ensure this will happen with Legion, too. Therefore, today at 3:00 p.m PDT (Wednesday midnight CEST for Europeans) there will be a Legion launch test.

The servers will go down four hours before that time and then they will open once again. Players will only have access to Warlords of Draenor content and they will start at level 100. Then, when enough players log in, the expansion will "launch" on the Beta with Legion's introductory questline and the Order Halls quests being made available.

Tomorrow, July 7, we’re going to test launching Legion with the Legion Beta, and we’d appreciate your help.

At about 11:00 a.m. PDT on July 7, we’ll take the Beta down for a few hours to prepare. Then, at 3:00 p.m. PDT, we’ll bring the Beta up for testers to log in. During this time, you will only have access to Warlords of Draenor content, and any of your characters above level 100 will temporarily be unable to login. Once enough players have logged in, we will begin broadcasting server messages to indicate that Legion is about to go “live”.

As the expansion “launches”, you will be automatically prompted with new quests to start your adventures in Legion. Please follow them through to conclusion, and play through your class Order Hall opening quests. This will give us a useful look at our live launch.

We need your help identifying issues, and we’ll be looking for your feedback on the test launch in this thread and via in-game bug reports.

Thank you very much!

The interesting part is that Blizzard seems to have given access to some players today, so they can have as many people testing the launch event as possible. This was first reported on a Reddit thread and some responses indeed confirmed that more invites were sent out by Blizzard. You can see if your account was flagged for Beta by checking if you have the option "Legion: Beta" available under "Region/Account" on the Battle.net app; you might have received an email, as well.

Happy testing!

Our preview of Class Mounts continues with the Priest class. The mount is rewarded upon completing The Sunken Vault.
High Priest's Lightsworn Seaker has three color tints, white for Discipline, gold for Holy and purple for Shadow.
The Priest is wearing Normal difficulty Tier 20 Set armor. All Tomb of Sargeras sets are heavily inspired by existing Tier 6 Sets with the exception of Death Knights, Demon Hunters and Monks.

Ana-Mouz is back in Suramar once again, joining the normal weekly world boss Withered J'im to offer us some nice loot. She's up on both EU and US servers and it's been a while since we've seen her, so here's the location in case you forgot!

And here's her loot, including the Vantus Rune for Tichondrius:

My game time expired about 1-1,5 months before patch 7.1.5 appeared in wow.
I focus only on pvp and I play shaman ele. Is it worth to come back to wow? Can you guys tell in what condition pvp is right now (2s,3s,bg's / wpvp)? Comments on blizzard forum don't encourage me to return.

Abyss Worm is the first mount from Tomb of Sargeras and according to the Mounts tab, it will drop from either Harjatan or Mistress Sassz'ine.
We expect more mounts to be added soon, because Glory of the Tomb Raider currently offers no mount reward.

It's been a while since we last posted videos on our YouTube channel. We're back and today we're looking at the Warlock Class Mount coming in Patch 7.2. All available tints were included in the video.
