The PvP season is ending, so does this mean we are going to be seeing a pre-patch release very soon?

Warlords Season 3 is coming to an end on the 19th of July, as confirmed by a post on the US forums just now. This could also be the pre-patch release date for 7.0, however, the post does state that the end of the season does not involve a new patch to the game. This means we might see a later date for 7.0, but this does discredit the latest post from the user WoWLeakz on Reddit, that claimed we would see a 12th July pre-patch.

Blizzard LogoEnd of Season

Prepare to fight your last battles of the season—Warlords Season 3 will end at 2:00 a.m. PDT on July 19, 2016.

After the season wraps, we will begin the process of determining eligibility for end-of-season rewards. If you believe that you’ve qualified for Warlords Season 3 PvP rewards, please refrain from transferring your character(s) to another realm or faction until awards are granted approximately two weeks later.

The next PvP season, Legion Season 1, will begin after World of Warcraft: Legion launches on August 30. In the meantime, all Honor and Conquest Points will be converted to in-game currency at a rate of 35 silver per point. Also, Rated Battleground and Arena matches will not be available during the break between seasons. We will confirm the start date of the forthcoming Legion Season 1 at a later date.

Please note that the end of the season does not require a patch to the game, and will occur automatically.

Your days are numbered—get out there and fight!

If the season ends on the 19th, I'd expect a patch either the 19th or 26th as a fallback in case things don't work properly in time.

Oooh shit.... Still need to level my druid van 78 to 100 before that time. The previews regarding color modifications for bear/cat/etc. got me switching. Time to spend some hours leveling ^^.

Luckily i already have a week off planned end July. So should be okay
